Opening night!!

((I'm gonna start off with song lyrics so if you just wanna skip 4 paragraphs to the real talk...go ahead.))

Another openin', another show. In Philly, Boston, or Baltimo'. A chance for stage folks to say hello, another openin', another show.

Another job that you hope at last, will make your future forget your past. Another pain where the ulcers grow. Another openin' of another show.

Four weeks, you rehearse and rehearse.
Three weeks, and it couldn't be worse.
One week, will it ever be right?
Then out of the hat, it's that big first night.

The overture is about to start, you cross your fingers and hold your heart. It's curtain time and away we go, another openin' of another show! *epic pose*

So... That is the first number in my first real show, like, ever! Opening night was last night. It was one of the best experiences ever! We did the Bard on Broadway, a mix of Shakespeare inspired shows. West Side Story, the Boys from Syracuse, Kiss me Kate, Lone Star Love, Return to forbidden Planet, annnddd The Lion King. We're putting on more shows tonight. And tomorrow. And Saturday. Lots of hard work...

Oh, how I love theatre!!!

It was the best, I made so many friends.
