Okay, sitting here, bawling my eyes out. (It's a weekly thing)
You know the Doctor Who episode 'Father's Day?' Well yeah, I watched that one, cried, got up to get a tissue, whole family stared at me, sat down at the table, tried to calm down, and tried to explain, only to burst into tears again. (Thank gosh my mom wasn't there, she'd probably threaten to ban me from Netflix. Even though I'll probably have to tell her when she gets home......crud....)
For you Whovians that don't know the episode, Rose (If you don't know who Rose is, and you're a Whovian, YOU MEAN NOTHING TO ME.) goes back in time and wants to see her Dad one more time, before he dies. What happens is, she goes and saves him.
As the plot goes on, and he finds out that Older Rose is actually Rose Rose, it becomes clearer to her Dad that the only way to save everyone was for him to go out and sacrifice his life. He ends up getting hit by a car, like Time told, and dying. Rose stayed with him until the very end, holding his hand as he died.
Did I word that okay? It's a bit hard to type while you're sniffling and going through a box of tissues. I'm emotional about certain things.
