"are you ever gonna get out of bed? it's two in the afternoon." tyler asked as he laid down next to me

i ignored tyler, grabbed my comforter from the edge of the bed, and threw it over my face.

tyler smacked his teeth "stop being like that, i hate when you get in a funk"

i rolled over and faced the wall, "why does the world hate me"

"the world doesn't hate you asswipe, nico is just an idiot" tyler said, trying to comfort me.

"aramis told me nico's going on a date tonight" i said, this time turning over to snuggle into tyler's side

tyler took in a deep breath, probably because i wasn't supposed to know about nicos date.

"and what about it?" tyler asked, running a hand through my hair "we're having our very own date right here in your apartment"

"we are?" i asked, giving him a funny look

tyler nodded, resting his chin on top of my head. "a picnic, i know how much you love picnics. unfortunately it has to be indoors due to the rain"

"i know you're only doing this to make me feel better about nico ditching me the other day" i said, sitting up in the bed

tyler looked at me and gave me that big toothy smile of his "i know i told you the other day i'd never ask about your feelings again, but i do care about you, and nico can eat a dick"

-3:30pm, sonny's living room

tyler had left with aramis and olan to the store around two forty-five, and was now back with grocery bags full of chips and stuff for sandwiches- he even bought a couple of board games.

"what's going on in here?" dakota asked as she came out in her pajamas

tyler threw a bottle of chocolate milk at her, and she quickly caught it "i got your favorite. and we're having a picnic"

dakota quickly opened the bottle and chugged the milk down, wiping her mouth shortly after. "aw is this for sonny? you deserve it since nico's america's biggest douche"

"i heard something about a picnic?" sage asked as she walked out of her room, a tall pale boy standing behind her

"uh yeah sage we are, who are you?" i asked the boy behind her, giving him a once over

the boy yawned, "i'm matt, you're cool with my friend ian we sit behind you in bio"

"oh matt! i couldn't really recognize you without your head face down in a desk" i laughed

matt chuckled "you got jokes i see, but i can leave if i'm intruding. no worries"

i looked over at sage then back at matt, i could tell she really liked him and that he was probably the boy she'd been gushing over for the past month, "you can stay, i'm sure we have enough good for everyone. just to put some clothes on"

matt looked down realizing he was only in a pair of boxers with avocados on them and some white socks.

"gotcha!" he said going back to the room with sage.

shortly after they had come back out in pajamas.

tyler had just finished setting down a table cloth in the middle of our living room floor and placing the food down when there was a knock at the door.

dakota quickly shot up and answered it, revealing harry and taco.

"greetings, i heard there was a picnic going on here. i brought the goods!" harry grinned, holding up a ziplock full of weed.

-5:30pm, sonny's bedroom

"thank you again for this wonderful date," i said resting my head in the crook of tyler's neck "it felt good to just be with all of you and not worry about anything."

we had just finished eating and were now laying in my bed high as hell watching "This is The End".

tyler gently moved his finger in a circle on my cheek "of course, we're not together anymore but i'll always have your back. no overall wearing nigga gonna break your heart"

even though i found nico in overalls cute i had to laugh at that slight roast.

"leave him alone the overalls are cute" i laughed trying to defend nico

tyler scoffed "yeah for an eight year old, we're in our twenties come on"

"so what do you think about matt?" i asked, changing the subject

tyler shrugged "he seems cool, looks like he's missed a few years of sleep though."

"you're just on it today huh?" i laughed

before i could say anything else my door opened.

nico popped his head in and waved awkwardly, "am i interrupting something?"

i looked at tyler wondering if he knew nico was coming, but he gave me a look clearly answering my question.

"why are you here?" i asked standing up

"well i wanted to apologize and introduce you to somebody"

i rolled my eyes "i've had enough introductions for today, nico please g-"
