Chapter three

*KATIE'S POV*

I woke up and immediately turned to look at the clock. It was 8:30. I was going to be late on my first day. I quickly jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth as quickly as I could before getting changed into a floral dress and cream flats (the first things I saw in my cupboard) then brushed my long hair. I threw a note pad and pencil case into my purple backpack then ran out the front door. I sat in my mums car and looked at the time 8:45. I might actually make it there on time; my mum started the car and I put my headphones in and listened to Amnesia by 5 seconds of summer as we made our way to my new school. About five minutes later we arrived at 'Thomas Freeman Public School', me and my mum got out the car and made our way to the main office. I sat outside while my mum sorted everything out. I started to wonder how Seb was... Did he miss me? Was everything okay? then I thought about my friends I hadn't spoken to them in a while mainly because if we did we knew we were going to cry because we would miss each other too much. I was broken from my thoughts when I realised there were two guys next to me who were staring at me. "Can I help you?" I asked, I know it was kinda rude but come on I'm tired I only woke up like half an hour ago. The one with caramel hair just looked away and rolled his eyes whilst muttering "bitch" under his breath and I decided to ignore it since I didn't want to start a fight on my first day here.

However the one with blue eyes nudged him and asked "what's your name?"

"I'm Katie and you are...?"

"I'm Nash, so are you new?"

"Yeah I just got here the other day. I'm from London"

"Wow London! Well welcome to Thomas Freeman" he said flashing a cute crooked smile which exposed his adorable dimple.

"Thank you!" I beamed and I couldn't help but smile back.

"You seem nice can I have your number so I can call you and we can hang some time?" the one with blue eyes said the other one just rolled his eyes again.

"Sure, here give me your phone" we swapped phones and entered our numbers.

Just as I was giving nash his phone back my mum walked out the office and motioned for me to follow her so I did, she handed me my timetable and hold me to behave before leaving quickly so she wouldn't be late for work. I looked at my timetable and I had art first period in room C15 in ten minutes minutes so I made my way around the school looking for it. After about eight minutes I gave up hope and I was lost; great I was going to be late to my first class! I decided to try look for the main office so they could point me I'm the right direction I dumped into that Nash guy from earlier. "Oh, hi"

"Hey... Katie right?"

"Guilty"

"So what are you doing in the hallway, it's almost time for class."

"I'm lost" I sighed in defeat.

"Here let me help you out... oh Art in C15! Hey we have first period together!! Come on let's go" he grabbed my hand and dragged me to a classroom at the very top of the school. "Okay here we are" We walked in and all eyes were on me... I awkwardly walked to the teachers desk and said "Hi, I'm Katie Williams and I'm new"

"Hello Katie, I'm Mrs Beech and welcome to Thomas Freeman feel free to sit where you want as long as you don't cause any trouble." Said the woman wearing a bright pink blouse that's neckline was far too low considering her age, a short black skirt that revealed too much, netted tight and long boots that made her look like a hooker. I looked at the classroom then found a spare desk at the back of the room and began to walk towards it until Nash pulled me towards his table and motioned for me to sit down. We both sat down and I realised his friend from earlier was directly opposite me along with another guy who had tan skin, brown eyes and brown hair. The guy from earlier asked Nash "why the hell did you bring her to sit with us?!" Whilst completely ignoring the fact I was sitting less than a metre away from him.
