The interview went better than expected. William did stumble on his words a few times, but nothing like he expected. His anxiety was a monster in times like these, but he refused to let it control him.

Although there was one thing that kept William messing up. It was John Deacon. John sat on a chair, looking much better than before after a glass of water, 2 Advil, and several trips to the bathroom. William was encapsulated by John's silly aloha t-shirt and his ridiculously fluffy hair, almost missing his cue to talk after another bandmate responded.

At one point, they even had some people call in with questions for the members. They answered a question for every member until it was just John who hadn't had a question yet. William requested that only people who had questions for John call in.

William pressed a button on the phone and it let a caller in. "Hello. It's Will here at K105.9 the Rock Station. What's your question."

A girl on the line giggled, "I wanted to know if John had a girlfriend? My mom really likes him."

John adjusted the mic so that it was towards him. "Thank you for the question," John looked amused. "I don't at the moment. Perhaps I can meet up with your mum, huh?"

The girl laughed.

"Thank you for your call. Ma'am." William pressed the button again. "That's all the time we have for today folks. Again, this is Queen. Tickets are on sale right now for their July show at the stadium. Get 'em now cause they're gonna go quick. We'll have a giveaway tomorrow for a chance to meet the band backstage. Stay tuned!"

William put on a song and their mics turned off. All the members all started laughing and talking about various things.

William was quite surprised with Freddie's demeanor. On stage and in his songs, he sounded so cocky, arrogant, so demanding, but in real life, or at least in this interview, he was quite meek. William was well prepared to have to grit his teeth and let Freddie go on for ages about himself but it was the exact opposite. Freddie didn't like to talk about himself at all. In fact, he changed the subject whenever it was solely focused on him.

After the whole ordeal was over, they all shook hands and exchanged welcomes.

"It was a pleasure meeting you guys. Thank you for your time."

"No, thank you, man! It was amazing to talk to you. You really know your stuff."Brian laughed.

"Yes, dear, I appreciate your professionalism," Freddie said.

Roger put his arm around John, leading him out the studio door. While Brian and Freddie were talking, William's eyes followed as Roger and John bumped into Lou. John stopped and asked Lou something to which Lou responded with writing something down on a little post-it.

William's brow furrows trying to figure out what the post-it might say on it. After the exchange, John turned towards the studio window to see William looking at him. John's eyes widen and then his face turns red. He looks angry. He and Roger keep walking until they're out of sight.

"We got a get a move on, mate. But it was nice meeting you." Bri smiled and shook William's hand again.

"You too, Mr. May."

Once Freddie and Brian left the studio, William sunk into his chair. He felt his eyes burn a little and his nose get a little stuffy. "Don't cry, Will." He told himself, but he couldn't help it. Small things like an almost complete stranger getting mildly upset at him set him off. Will's emotions always got the best of him.

William drove home on the freeway, his air conditioning was broken so the windows were open.

It felt nice to have the wind blowing in his hair. The music was blasting some pop. The feeling was so nice, it kept him awake for once.

Will got to his quaint apartment and opened the door. He was greeted by his beagle, Beck. He took off his shoes and coat and changed into a plain black t-shirt and a pair of boxer briefs. William plopped down on his bed, with Beck curled up next to him. He was about to go to sleep when his phone rang.

"Hello?" An unknown voice said.

"Hi. Who is this?" William replied.

" It's John. We talked earlier today?"

"I think you might be mistaken I d-" It dawned on Will who the caller was. He stopped for a second and resumed the call. "Deacon?"

John chuckled, "Yes, It's me. How are you doing, William?"

"Good! Good! Uh, if you don't mind me asking, I mean...How did you get my number?" William wasn't opposed to this call at all. He immediately regretted asking that in fear that it would be taken as 'I don't want you calling me. Lose my number.'

"Oh! I asked the man with the beard. I think his name was Lou?"

"Oh yeah! Lou! My boss!" William laughed. "Yeah, that makes more sense now."

The post-it note made sense now, but why did John seem mad. Did he not want William to know that he was talking to Lou?

"I was afraid he gave me a fake number! I had to check the phone book just in case.  Luckily there's only 1 William Froehle in all of England, otherwise, that would have been a complete disaster. "

William laughed, "Why would he give you a fake number!?"

"I don't know." John's voice was quiet now. William desperately pressed his ear to the speaker, trying to soak up all of his words. "You just seem like you'd be so popular with...you know....boys."

"Boys!?" William had to laugh. "I'm the complete opposite!"

"Oh! Well, I'm glad I got your number. I have to apologize for earlier though."

"Why?"

"For being such an arse. I just wasn't feelin' it earlier."

"You don't have to apologize, John! I know you weren't feeling well."

"Yeah, but I still felt the need to." John took a deep breath. "Let me make it up to you huh? Coffee? Tomorrow? I know this really nice one on Bishop Street."

William's heart started fluttering uncontrollably. He felt his face grow hot. "Um. I, uh, I, uh, um.."

"You don't have to go if you don't want to!" John said suddenly. He didn't want to force William to do anything he didn't want to.

"I do! I do! I do want to go out!" William blurted. God, he felt like such an idiot. "I'll gladly go."

John let out a sigh of relief, "Good, good. Uh. It's called Tea of the Day. I'll see you there at 11?"

"Yes! I'll, uh, I'll see you there."

"Goodnight William."

"Goodnight, John."

The line clicked.
