Dear Madam,

I am writing this letter of invitation to you to once again join our schools in a night of camaraderie and diversity through our annual promenade.

We know that we've been celebrating the said event at a grand hotel but this year, we would like to do some changes, if it's okay with you.

One purpose of the promenade is not just to dance to sweet lullabies but also to maintain the harmonious relationship of our schools.That's why with this, we are planning to hold the event in our school gymnasium as a sign also of your genuine friendship.

Hindi ko mapigilan mapangisi as I read the letter of invitation we're bound to give to St. Claire. 

Sigurado ako na tatanggi sila. I know that they're not that stupid to actually allow their students to go here in our territory. I know that they will consider the amount of gangly students we have here at sinisiguro kong matatakot sila at aayaw. At oras na tumanggi sila, there will be no prom for sure.

Kagagaling ko lang kani-kanina sa office ni Tito Franz at sinadya kong abala siya nang sa ganun ay hindi niya na basahin ang letter. When I walked in may kausap pa siya sa phone that's why when I handed him this letter, diretso niya lang na pinirmahan without even looking upwards. Abala rin kasi talaga siya dahil nagbukas na yung business nila ng kambal ko which is located in EDSA kaya hindi sila nawawalan ng kliyente. Kahit nga ang kambal ko ay madalas puyat dahil after class hours saka niya naman ginagawa ang parte niya.

"Pakihatid na po ito" I told the messenger as I handed him the letter na nakalagay na sa sobre at sealed na rin. Maingat niya naman na nilagay yun sa bag niya.

Pagtapos kong magpasalamat ay tumalikod na ako at naglakad na muli hanggang sa makabalik sa classroom.

"There's something off about you. Napansin ko na kanina ka pa masaya. What's up?" Blaise asked me with his brows furrowed like he's really curious. Dalawa lang kami ngayon and we're here in our usual spot at kumakain ng lunch.

"Masaya ako kasi kasama kita. Masama ba?" depensa ko kaagad. Wala akong plano sabihin sa kanya ang tungkol sa letter because I know that he'll lose his shit if I do.

Tiningnan niya ako nang maigi sabay iling. "It's not that it's bad pero ang pilya ng ngiti mo eh. Like you've done something sneaky again"

I rolled my eyes "Wala ah. Napaka judgemental mo naman sa'kin parang di mo na ako love" pag-iinarte ko para lang malayo na ang usapan sa'kin. I even sighed to make it more believable.

Like I expected he looked worriedly at me. "Hey, hindi naman kita jinajudge ah. I was just wondering dahil kakaiba talaga ang mood mo today. I love you, alright?" he cupped my face and gave me a light kiss on the lips.

Deep inside I feel guilty for lying to him but I know better na tama lang ang ginawa ko. I have to stay Maoi out of our relationship hangga't kaya ko dahil siguradong may gagawin na naman yun na pwede namin ikasirang dalawa. Hindi ko hahayaan na mangyari yun.
