Chapter 7

*Jc's POV*

Mckenzie's beautiful. I don't understand why she doesn't know that.

I was about to ask her out when Nicole showed up out of nowhere. How the hell did she know I was here?

"Ugh hold on Mckenzie, I'll be right back." I say

Mckenzie looks so upset.

"What the hell are you doing here? I told you to stay away from me." I shout at her.

"Babe I missed you! I wanted to see how you were doing. Is that not okay?" She pouts.

"No it's definetly not okay. You need to leave. NOW."

"Why? So you can flirt with that weird girl over there. She's not even pretty. JC you could do so much better."

"SHUT UP! WE ARE NEVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU FOLLOW ME AROUND. LEAVE!!" I screamed in her face.

" F you JC, doesn't matter anyway. I found someone better."

"Does it look like I care."

She huffed and ran off. I turned around to walk back to Mckenzie, but she was gone.

I found Emily and Daphne with Kian and Connor.

"Guys did you see Mckenzie anywhere?"

"Dude did you seriously lose her?" Kian laughed.

"No Nicole showed up... I had to tell her to leave and when I turned around she was gone."

"Nice bro. You just had to go over and talk to your ex, right in front of Mckenzie? She probably thought you were hooking up with her again. You couldn't have just ignored her." Emily said.

"Shut up Emily. You know Nicole. You can't just ignore her. I said angrily. Emily was quiet.

"JC, I think we all know there's something between you and Mckenzie. Maybe she just thought you didn't have any interest in her. I can tell she likes you, the way she looks at you." Daphne said.

"I agree, you need to find her and explain to her about everything." Connor says.

" I would if I knew where she was." I said sadly.

"Look if I see her I'll give her your number and I'll tell her to text you." Emily said.

"Ok thanks." I grabbed my chair and got in my car.

*11:00 PM*

(M=Mckenzie, J=Me)

M: is this JC?

J: yeah. Is this Mckenzie?

M: yeah.. Sorry I left.

J: no I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked to Nicole.

M: no I get it, you guys still have feelings. It's okay.

J: what?? No I don't like her at all. She follows me and stuff it's really creepy. I told her to stay away from me.

M: oh.

J: yeah, so.. Is you're favorite color still green? ;)

M: haha yes.

J: Mckenzie?

M: yeah?

J: um, nevermind.

M: tell me!

J: I like you.

J: yeah. I can't get you out of my mind.

M: JC, is this a prank or something?

J: no why would I do that.

M: it's happened to me before..

J: I would never do that to you.

M: JC?

J: I knew it!

M: oh gosh that's embarassing.

J: nah I thought it was cute.

J: well I gtg before my kian grabs my phone. See ya tomorrow?

M: yeah! Bye :)
