try not to put so many authors notes? like at the beginning and the end are fine. but like i hate it so much when ill be reading and something "relatable" will happen and then itll be like (a/n saME!!)
like no one cares, if its really necessary put it at the beginning or end. you can put notes in the middle of there is something that REALLY needs explanation, but tbh if it does you probably shouldnt write it. when it needs clarification from you, it isnt clear enough in the 1st place.
try not to use so many big fancy words!! unless you just talk that way naturally, more often than not you will misuse them and your approach will be achieve the opposite effect- youll look dumb, not smart. use simple, concise language that your readers can relate to. obviously, that doesnt mean dumb your writing down- big words can be excellent, but dont make it so your readers need a thesaurus with them or what ever.
