THE DAY had gone off to a great start for Marie. Her and Anti happily chatted as they walked to the gas station, where Anti had worked. She was happy she could finally spend time with Anti for just a day. A single day was enough to make her fill with joy.

"So, how's school goin'?" He asked, Marie huffing. "Worse than last year," she simply stated, looking ahead of them.

"Really? How?" Anti asked, now being concerned with the fact that this year for her was more worse than last year - which was pretty awful for Marie.

"Well, word some how went around that mom died while giving birth, and now every one keeps blaming me and saying it's my fault that mom's gone..," she said, beginning to tear up. She never liked to talk about their mother. It always made her feel insecure and made her Blane herself for her mother's death.

"Honey, you know that's not true..," Anti said, sensing the sadness and fear that was radiating off of her. "It is my fault," she stated. "Honey, just because Mom died during your birth, it doesn't mean it's your fault she died," Anti said, wrapping his arm around her. Marie Sniffled, wiping her eyes. She hadn't even met her mom, but the thought of her dying while she gave birth to her still hurt. Anti smiled down at her, poking her pointing and fairly noticable fangs. "If anything, you're more like mom than me. You look just like her, and you're the only one who got her fangs". This caused Marie to smile, hugging his arm. He smiled, kissing the top of her head as they walked into the gas station.

Falcon and her cat just walked around the new town. She must've looked crazy walking down the street talking to her cat, she always talked to him, he was honestly like he was a human, almost like was talking to her, he was also the only one who had been there for her no matter what, he would never leave her side.

she could feel her tummy rumble and decided to find something to eat, though she didn't know what... maybe there was a little shop somewhere? she would have to find out.

She could feel her phone vibrate through her pocket and took it out seeing a message from an unknown number

"hey loser, you think you can escape us? good fucking luck, slut" her eyes widened as she quickly blocked the number

"how did they find me? I changed my number!? the only contacts on my phone are mom, dad, and Dark..." she exclaimed looking at her cat who looked just as shocked and confused as her.

she sat down on the nearest bench and held her head in her hands. she decided to try to forget it, maybe she just imagined that that text just appeared on her phone, maybe it was a wrong number? her mind was racing until she pushed all of those thoughts into the back of her head, standing and walking away.

"now, let's find a place to eat, shouldn't we?" she looked at her cat smiling slightly as he meowed in response.
