(Kazumi's POV)
I walked in and rolled my eyes. Here it comes.
"Oh. Its a boy. Looks like he brought a girl with him." The twins said.
"Hikaru, Kaoru. I believe this young man is in your class right?" Kyoya asked. I blushed intensly, because not only was he my favorite character, he was an anime crush.
"Yeah. But he doesn't act very sociably so we don't know much about him. We're more interested in how on his first day he got a girlfriend. Especially one a pretty as her." The twins responded.
"I'M NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND! We were just looking for a quiet place to study. Right Haruhi?" I smiled at her.
"Welcome to the host club mister honor student." Kyoya said taking the attention off of me. 2 lighbulbs went off. Wait 2? I guess the anime has recognized me already. Tamaki stood up and I decided to take a seat. I crossed my arms and legs watching the scene play out. I put down my purple book and smirked.
"You must be Haruhi Fujioka!You're the exceptional honor student we've heard about!" Tamaki said standing up.
"How did you know my name?" Haruhi asked.
"Why you're infamous. Its not everyday a commoner gains entrance to our academy. You must have an audacious nerve to fight your way into this school as an honor student Mr. Fujioka."
"Well, uh, thank you I guess." She looks at me. "I'm sorry I don't think I got your name."
"Kazumi. Kazumi Kin. Second year, I'm in the same class as the tall, blonde idiot and Kyoya." I replied.
"OK. Um, Kazumi-senpai do you think you could help me here? Please?" She asked.
I shrugged. "Could you just leave Mr. Fujioka alone? He and I were just looking for a quiet to study."
They all ignored me and Tamaki put his arm around Haruhi, "Your welcome. You're a hero to other poor people Fujioka. You've shown that even a poor person can excel at an elite private academy."
Haruhi scooted away from him and continued to as he kept babbling, "It must be hard for you to be constantly looked down upon by others."
I tuned him out by grabbing my purple book and started to draw on a new page. I kept glaning at Kyoya trying to draw him. I was snapped out of my concentration by the vase breaking.
"Aww. We were gonna feture that vase in an upcoming school auction." Hikaru said.
"Oh.. Now you've done it commoner. The bidding on that vase was supposed to start at eight million yen." Kaoru finished.
Oh great, Haruhi freak out time. I tuned them out again until a horde of girls came barrelling in. I was so surprised I fell off my chair. Tamaki came over and said, "Sorry princess."
He held out his hand and I took it. "Um. Please don't call me princess. Quick question."
"Yes? Are you taking any options for girls to help out in the host club? Not as a host but just to help Kyoya out with the finances and other stuff?"
"You would have to ask Kyoya. Kyoya! There's a girl over here who needs to ask you something. Now if you'll excuse me I have guests waiting." He walked off and immediatly started talking to the girls. Kyoya appeared in front of me and asked, "How may I help you? Are you going to request someone?"
I shook my head, "No. Actually I was wondering if I could help out around the club? You know with finances and stuff."
He nodded, "I don't mind you helping out around the club. You can start with sorting out Hunni-senpai's sweets expenses." He handed me a large stack of reciepts. I noticed our hands brushed for a brief second making me blush. I walked over to an empty table and started to sort them as Kyoya had instructed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time skip after hours~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I periodically heard the lightbulbs go off as each person figured out Haruhi was a girl. I finished sorting through the bills and headed to where the host's were now. The changing room as I entered I heard the last light bulb go off. I smiled.
"Haruhi?"
"Yeah?" she responded. I took a spot next to Kyoya.
"You finished? Thats good our king has just figured out Haruhi is a girl."
"Idiot. It was obvious from the start but then again he's not exactly the brightest kid." I responded.
Tamaki continued ignoring us, "So you're a girl?"
"Biologically speaking, yes."
"You are such an idiot Tamaki." I said as I took out my purple book again to finish drawing Kyoya. I backed away from him and studied him briefly. I continued to draw him adding his facial features and creases in his clothes. Kyoya looked over at me and asked," What are you doing? You keep glancing at me why?"
"Oh. I draw in my notebook. I'm usually good at drawing people so I decided to draw you." I held up my picture and all of the hosts were amazed. "What?"
"You didn't say you could draw." Tamaki answered.
I rolled my eyes, "Well I kinda just met you so why would I tell you that? Nevermind. Can someone take me home? My limo has probably already left since I never told my driver to wait." That was a lie. I don't have a limo or a house so I guess I could just make up a random adress near the school.
Kyoya volunteered, "I'll take you home follow me." He walked out to his limo with me chasing after. I began to blush. I'm riding home with my biggest anime crush, Kyoya Ootori.
He opened the limo and I got in. He walked around to the other side and did the same, but also told the driver my 'adress'. The ride was mostly silent until he asked, "So was today your first day at the school because I've never seen you before today?"
"Well no. I just prefer not to be noticed alot of the time, but some people that do notice me decide to annoy and it doesn't end well for them. I have what I call a black aurora. Most people run scared when they see it but some of my friends don't turn tail in fear of dying." I responded. None of this was an actual lie except fot the first part.
"I see. My father has told me about your parents company though. We work closely with them but I understood they lived in America." He said a little confused why thier only daughter was living in Japan.
"Well, I was forced to go to Ouran Academy. My parents said I would learn more here as an honor student than at a public school in America."
"Then why aren't you wearing the girls uniform?" He asked.
"You mean that ugly yellow dress, AKA the bannana dress? I hate the uniform. Its not my color or me. I prefer my own style as you can tell." That wasn't a lie at all. I really hate the uniform and Hatsune Miku's outfit was actually my style.
"Interesting. Looks like we've arrived."
I looked out the window and sadly nodded. Before I even relized what I was doing I leaned over and kissed on the cheek. As I realized what I had just done, I ran out of the car and into the house. I locked the door behind me and was greeted by a bunch of maids and butlers.
"Welcome home Kin-sama." They said in unison.
I nodded, ran to my room, and fell asleep since I have school tomorrow.
