Tristens POV

I stood in front of the table, asking for the customers orders when my boss calls me back to the kitchen.  As I walked back, he stopped me and pointed to the phone, saying he put a very sassy woman on hold. "Thanks Martin, that's my mother." I state as I run to the phone, hoping I didn't need to harbor any fugitives.

"Hey Ma."

"Hey, baby. Something's happened. Before I tell you, get a friend with you."

"Okay, Ma your scaring me. Hold on, I'm gonna get Lexi real quick." I put my mother on hold and walked to the kitchen, seeing Lexi, the frycook, sitting on the counter. "Lexi, I need you for a few minutes. My mom told me I needed a friend with me. Bad news apparently." She looked at me worriedly and stood, walking towards me. She put her arm over my shoulder and led me back to the phone, putting it on speaker. "Hey Gemma. I'm with Tristen, so tell us the news."

"Hey Lexi. Thank you for being with her, she's not going to take this lightly. Sweetheart, its your brother. He was in an accident and he's in a coma. We don't know when he's going to wake up and I need you to come home baby. Please. We need you here." She started crying half way through.

I stifled out a sob and fell to my knees. Lexi pulled me to my feet and held me, letting me cry. After about 5 minutes, I pulled myself together and turned to the phone. "Ma, I'm coming home. I'll be there tomorrow, have someone waiting at the Welcome to Charming sign, okay? I'll see you soon. Love you. Bye" I hung up and slid down the wall, worried, scared, and every other feeling in the world that describes sadness. My world just came crashing down.

I began to pack my things. I packed everything of mine I had at work. I walked up to my boss after that and handed him my uniform. Lexi explained what happened and why I had to move home. My boss just nodded his head and hugged me.

As I drove up to the Welcome to Charming sign, the person waiting for me wasn't someone familiar, but he was hot and intriguing. Bald, with tattoos, toothpick in his mouth. I hopped out of my car and nodded a hello.

"You Tristen?" he asked in a low, raspy voice.

"Yeah. You're new. What's your name?" I asked him, confused as to who he is.

"Happy, and I'm not new Little Girl. I just transferred to the mother charter from the Tacoma one. " he rasped.

"Fine, whatever. You gonna tail me or what?" I asked, wanting to get to the clubhouse to talk to my mother and see the guys before I head to St. Thomas.

Happy grunted and swung his leg over his bike, putting his helmet on in the process. I started my car and waited for him to start his bike.

As I drove through the familiar streets of Charming, I thought about the event that made me leave, crying in the process. Thinking about what happened to me isn't something that's ever been easy.

They ran their hands over my body as I squirmed, screaming and crying, begging them to stop. As I squirmed, they took turns beating, and then. My worst nightmare. They took turns entering me as I went numb, knowing it would only hurt more if I screamed. When it was over, they told me to give my step dad and brother a message. "Tell them to stop selling to the niggers and wetbacks, or we find you and do this again." After that, they knocked me out and when I came to, Unser was carrying me to his car, trying to take me to the hospital.
