Hey there! :) I am super super sorry for the long wait!! :( I was really busy. Summer homework and tests suck. But here it is! Enjoy! Now you finally have something to munch on as I work on the next chapter! Haha. Vote, comment, fan!! :D

             Spaghetti?

Where is that smell coming from? The yummy aroma wafted around me like a gentle caress. Wait. Is that the smell of meatballs too? I shifted. Holy crap, did I die and go to heaven because it literally feels like I'm lying on a cloud right now. Struggling to move my eyes, I lifted one eye open a crack. Bright light filled my vision, blinding me. I instantly shut my eye.

Moving my hands around me, I felt softness. A soft bed. I sighed in relief, I'm back home and Mom is probably making dinner. Suddenly an image of bloodied, ivory claws shot through my mind, eliminating any hope I had as the terrifying events of that night flooded back into me. I sat up fast as a whip, eyes wide open now.

Instantly, pain enveloped every corner of my body and my head filled with fire. Bracing my arm against the wall at the side of the bed., I held myself up, wincing in pain. Taking a deep breath, I prayed. Please, please let me be safe and in my room. Mustering my courage, I glanced quickly around the room. Crap.

Dark, blue walls met my gaze. Nope, definitely not my room. Everything about the lamp-lit room screamed "A guy lives here!" Great. Directing my glance downwards, I saw that I was lying in a huge bed. Throwing the covers off me, my eyes widened as I realized I was wearing a white t-shirt that was way too big for me. The shirt came all the way down to the top of my thighs. My eyes widened further as I realized I wasn't wearing my jeans. Panic started to run through me as I considered the possibility of being kidnapped.

"Huh. I didn't expect you to be up so soon."

Looking up, I spotted a tall, young man entering the room, shutting the door behind him quietly. He had soft looking, brown hair and seemed to be about my age. Also, he was totally hot. Figures, I thought sarcastically even as my heart beat faster.

Moving quickly, I grabbed the blanket I had thrown off and covered myself. Scooting as far back as the bed would allow me; I folded my legs up, brought the blanket up to my chin and gazed warily at the stranger.

"Here, I brought you dinner." The guy casually sat in a chair beside the bed, holding out a plate of spaghetti.

Staring at the food in front of me, my mouth watered. I was starving. Yup, I was ravenously hungry, but not stupid. Shoving the spaghetti away, I glared at the guy.

"Do you seriously think I'm going to eat that? You probably poisoned it!"

The mystery guy laughed and then looked at me like he thought I was stupid. "I didn't poison it," he said frankly, "besides, is that the way to treat your rescuer?"

Looking doubtfully, I shifted even farther back. He saved me? Where the heck was I? And who the heck was he? I didn't even know if he was human. I could've easily been captured by an evil fairy or something after I passed out. Yep, you heard right. Evil fairy. Those things exist, unfortunately.

Wait. Did he see the wereliph? Was he a normal human or did he know about the creatures and the hunters like what I'm training to become? A million questions ran through my mind.
