When I arrive at the hospital with Beth and Wes in the morning I get a cup of coffee from the cafeteria and then head up to Christians room.

I find him finishing his breakfast, "Good morning."

He sighs, "Morning."

"Did you get any sleep?"

He nods, "Yeah, the doctor said I could check out after breakfast."

I nod and sit down on the sofa, pulling out my nook, he smirks, "Did you finish your book last night in my bed?"

I look at him over the top of it, "Get your mind out of the gutter."

He chuckles, "My bed isn't good enough?"

I roll my eyes, "I prefer a shower."

His eyes darken and he bites his lip, "Hmm something we have in common."

My eyes widen and he chuckles as I shake my head, "Conversation over."

As I read a nurse comes to take his tray away and then his doctor comes in.

"We'll just get you to sign these papers and then a nurse will come to wheel you and Mr. Davis downstairs."

"Sounds good.'

A half hour later he's showered, changed, and signed the papers. When the nurse comes in I try not to laugh at the once over she gives him while he barely acknowledges her.

I hand him his phone and she says, "Which exit will you be leavning from Mr. Clark?"

He frowns and looks at me, "Front entrance," I say.

We meet Davis and Beth in the hall along with Wes. Once in the car Wes goes, "Christian you are oblivious."

He frowns, "What are you talking about?"

Beth rolls her eyes and Davis chuckles, "The girl," Wes says, "She was hot, and hitting on you the whole way downstairs. You didn't even notice."

I chuckle, "He does that a lot."

Wes nods, "I know!"

Christian frowns, "How would you know?"

I roll my eyes, "Every single female in that office, plus a few of the male ones, throw themselves at you everyday. No wonder Jessica was always in a good mood. It's hilarious to watch. You just roll it off like it's not big deal."

His eyes widnen, "Wait is that why you asked if I was gay?"

I roll my eyes again and shake my head, "No, but it is a contributing factor."

"Then why did you ask?"

I shrug, "You're never seen with women at events, frankly if you want people to stop asking if your gay you need to use your connections to find dates that don't expect anything at the end of the night. Take Lori Hill, that executive? She's a lesibian in the closet. She's always going out with men and no one suspects her."

He frowns, "She's gay?"

I nod, "Yes."

"How do you know?"

"I worked for her for a while before I started working as Grace's assisstant."

He frowns, "How did I not know that?"

I shrug, "It wasn't written down anywhere."

He looks at me curiously, "What did you do?"

"Not important."

"Emerson-" he says in a warning tone.

I roll my eyes, "Seriously it was private stuff. No one knows about it except me and Lori."
