bakugou came into school that day looking exhausted. he lay his head down on his desk and nearly drifted off to sleep.
a tap on the shoulder woke him up.
"bakugou, class is starting soon."
he looked up at the split boy with eyes, looking lost and full of wonder.
todoroki sent him a small smile, and bakugou's heart stopped.
he almost smiled back.
