You beautiful, silly girl.
It is going to get better and you don't have to like those words, but that is the best way for me to word it. But if you would like a different way of saying it, here you go;
Life isn't always going to go your way, but I'm sure you know, as do most of us. It doesn't give us what we want, what we need. It doesn't give us rest, it doesn't take off any pressure handed or dropped on us from people of our family, it doesn't give us someone who's permanently by our side.
But it gives us potential, it gives us options.
You have the potential to be anyone you aspire to be, to make history of what you want to be remembered as, whether that's as an author, a president, an activist, anything. You have the potential to be you, and the road that leads to your binding may be difficult, it could be harder then everyone else's, but it's not for anyone else to finish for you. You have to walk that road, you have to make that journey, to discover new findings, new lessons, new discoveries.
We can not do that for you, that includes people you look up to. But what we can do is make the trip with you, we can take some of the weight, the luggage, and when you reach the end of your journey, we'll be right there with you to see that smile, to see the look on your face when that weight disappears, and we'll be there when you start again, on a new discovery. And if our feet get tired, we'll crawl with you, and when our knees get bruised and our hands bloody, we'll drag our bodies, but I'll tell you something and I want you to remember this well, you are not alone, you are not worthless, you are not treading in the dark.
Don't put your blame on things you can't or don't want to understand, if you're scared, grab our hands, because then we'll walk into it together, and death be damned if he or you thinks that I'm ever going to let you go alone. I will always be there for you, I don't care what happens, we will be right there with you.
Life gives you options. They give you options of people, people who care, people on who you want next to you when you walk your journeys. They give you options on which path you want to take, the ones you can't see into, the ones you can have an easy walk, even the short ones. And you will lose people on the way, I can't tell you that you won't.
But you pick up your head while you cry and you walk on, but just because you're not mourning them, doesn't mean you forgot, because when you walk on, you walk on with their message in your heart and their story ready to tell on the tip of your tongue.
Because as you succeed, they do as well and they can Rest In Peace.
You, are something above special.
You, are not alone, okay? Don't you ever forget that, write it down the times a day, whatever you have to do to get that to stay in your mind.
