Dylan's POV:
"So how is the dating website going?" Jacob asks while he gets a water bottle from the fridge.
"Horrible. No matches yet." I respond.
"Then change the picture to a better looking guy on the internet."
"Okay- wait did you just say that your not very good looking?." I ask and he just laughs.
"No! I'm really good looking, but super model guys usually get more matches then some random guy like me," he responds and I nod.
I search the web and finally find an image of a guy who looks slightly but only barely similar to me.
I set up the picture and close my computer.
Within seconds I get a notification that says the website found a match. Two actually. I look at the first one. Maya Lain. She is blonde and pretty but definitely not my type. Then I look at the other girl. Lindsey Stirley. She's quite attractive. Long hair, brown eyes, her hair is brown, and she has olive skin.
I accept the friendship request on the website and she happens to be online.
Me: Hi, I'm Jacob.
Linsey: Nice to meet you Jacob. My name is Lindsey.
Me: What's up?
Lindsey: You're already asking me "What's up?" wow! I feel like we're already friends.
Me: Well I hope that we could be friends
Lindsey: The feeling is mutual
Me: You never answered my question though.
Lindsey: I am watching a movie and talking to my new friend.
Me: Who is this new friend?
Lindsey: He is nice and from what I've seen, he is good looking.
Me: Nice. What's his name?
Linsey: His name is Jacob
Me: Very cool. Anyways, what are your hobbies?
Lindsey: I'm guessing that you're a man who gets straight to the subject? And my hobbies include working, I love to sing, working out, sports, partying, and mainly just having fun.
Me: Yes I am, and I have mostly the same hobbies but I sadly suck at singing so I would probably fill sports in for singing!
Lindsey: I knew you were that type of man. So what I've learned from you is that you are nice, funny, sporty, you suck at singing, you get straight to the subject, and you do in fact work. I've met the perfect man.
Me: Well I must be honest, I'm sadly not the perfect man, but I will say that I have found the perfect women.
Lindsey: I'm sorry to break it to you but I'm not the perfect women either. I do in fact have mental scars and I do have enemies.
Me: As I said. Perfect women. I'd rather have that in a women then have her be unscathed mentally. Also everyone is going to have enemies.
Lindsey: Good to hear that from at least someone in this world. I must agree with you though; I do not want a mentally unscathed man. Maybe I was right. Maybe you are the perfect man.
Me: I'm very glad we became friends. Do you think that we could meet?
Lindsey: We can talk more tomorrow and I'll sleep on it. How does that sound?
Me: Good! I gotta go so I will talk to you tomorrow
Lindsey: Okay! I'll talk to you tomorrow! Bye
Me: Bye!
Amber's POV:
Lindsey came over at around five.
"So how is it going with that whole dating website?" she asks while sitting down on the couch.
"Quite well. I met this guy named Jacob who is really sweet and funny and just really awesome!" I respond, confidentially.
"Nice! How was your guys's convo?" she asks and I read her the whole thing,"awww! You guys are perfect for each other! Meet him! Please meet him!" she pleads. I laugh,"I might invite him to the party that they're throwing for the movie!"
"That is a perfect idea! You guys would be so cute together! I'm fangirling right now!" she exclaims and I can't help but laugh.
"We should have a girls night!" I say out of the blue.
She nods with a smile,"Sleepover or party?"
"Sleepover." I respond.
"Okay, well I am gonna go to my house to get a few things!" she announces and runs out of my apartment.
I open up my computer and send Jacob a message.
Me: So I was wondering if you wanted to meet me at a party next week?
Jacob: I thought that you were gonna sleep on it
Me: Well do you want to meet me or not?
Jacob: Yeah! When? Where?
Me: Friday at the party for that new movie, Reluctant.
Jacob: I was already going to that party! How did you get in?
I panic. What do I say? I can't just say,"Well ya know I'm the lead in that movie. You know, the usual." But I finally figure out what to say
Me: My friend gave me a ticket. How did you get in?
Jacob: I know the director quite well.
Me: Cool! I'll meet you there on Friday then!
Jacob: Okay! Talk to you later!
Then I log off.
I'm really excited to meet him. I wonder if we'll hit it off just like we did on the computer. Maybe. But maybe not. I guess we'll see.
A/N Hey guys! I hope that you are enjoying my story!
I'll try my hardest to post tomorrow! Thank you for reading!
