I decided to follow them before I missed out too much, and I caught up with them just as they were knocking on Sally’s door.

“Mom, did you forget your keys again?” She asked from the inside, “I’m coming.”

She opened the door.

“Hello, Sally.” Alex smiled, “Missed me?”

She tried slamming the door but Camilla stuck her foot in, “We’re not leaving until you listen to what we have to say.”

“I have nothing to say to you Camilla.” She said.

“Well, we do.”

“The only person I have something to say to is Alexandra.”

“Whatever business you have with her affects us.” She said.

“Are you going to let us in Sally, or should we let ourselves in?” Rachel finally said something.

“Come in guys,” she said in a sarcastic monotone, “should I get you something to drink?”

“Save your beverages,” Alex snapped, “we want you to delete that darn video!”

“Oh,” she put her hands together, “well I’m sorry but you’ve wasted your time. I won’t do that. Have a great day.” She said, smiling.

“We’re not leaving until you delete that video.” Alex said, taking a step closer to her.

“Okay.” She shrugged, also taking a step closer to show bravery. “I hope you enjoy your stay with us.”

“We will,” Camilla smiled, “and we’ll take those drinks now.”

Sally shook her head. “Fine, I’ll get you guys something to drink. And while you’re at it, you better think of something to say when detective Annabelle gets here.”

“Wow,” Alex sat down. “You really thought this through, you little bitch!”

“I did actually.” She said, “And that is why I have backup.”

“Backup?”

“Yes, I have given somebody else the video… in case you guys decide to silence me. Permanently.”

“My life is over!” Alex cried.

“It wouldn’t have been if you didn’t kill Alisson.”

“I didn’t kill her!!” She yelled, getting up.

“Then why did you go out of your way just to confront me?”

She put her hands over her head, “I don’t know. I really don’t know.”

“Well you probably shouldn’t have done that.” Sally paused, “because now you look guiltier than ever before.” She looked at Rachel and Camilla, “all of you.”

They all panicked, and Sally smiled, knowing that she got them right where she wanted. I couldn’t help but join in on the smiling. If they really killed me, I’d love to see them pay. It’s a pity that the death sentence doesn’t exist anymore, because I wish death upon whoever killed me. And if I really killed myself, look where I am right now. I laughed at the thought.
“I’m hilarious.” I said to myself, thinking of all the times Camilla and all my friends said I wasn’t funny.

“Can I at least see the video?” Alex said as she wiped her tears.

“Sure,” Sally replied. “I can also delete it when you’re done watching. You know, just to feed your ego.”

They all nodded, as Sally smiled, leading the way.

I hesitated on following them, but just as I was about to, the ‘memory vacuum’ involuntarily pulled me in. Just then, I saw myself back at the coffee shop. I assumed this was a week before I passed because it was freezing outside, and well, I looked eighteen. I sat there, waiting for Alex to show up, but she didn’t. I had about two cups of coffee waiting on her, but she still didn’t pitch. I got up and left, but just as I was about to walk out, Alex walked in.
