Jin Ling had a scowl, almost uncomfortable; the comrades in his room struggled to raise their voices over the rest, squeezing between them. Certainly the situation was worthy of admiration, as you did not always see the indifferent HanGuang-Jun participating in a basketball game. JingYi had combed WangJi's long hair into a high ponytail.
"You're determined not to let me pass, eh?" He smiled sweetly bouncing the ball.
"Hmm"
Jin Ling frowned, feeling close to choking up a mouthful of blood. How the hell did he still have that masterful aura in this gruelling situation? More important ... In what text does a poker face mean determination to win?! GuangYao ran straight to Lan Zhan, turning to avoid him, but immediately WangJi appeared at his side and GuangYao was forced to pass the ball. The ball had a fluid movement, it would be a perfect pass ... Or so he thought. Midway of the pass the ball was intercepted by a large hand, which swerved it off the court.
"Brother Major Nie, what do you think you doing?!" GuangYao asked with a gentle smile, although the corners of his lips were tense.
"I stopped your pass."
"We are from the same team!"
"... My mistake, I'm sorry" though from the sound of his unapologetic voice, Nie clearly did not feel it. It's as if he were part of the opposing team and was prepared to mark him in a terrifying way, being both stronger and taller, MingJue had avoided any movement, pass or score from Jin GuangYao.
"Do not fight, do not fight. I'll go get the ball." Huaisang escaped quickly before his brother started scolding him for his lack of participation in the game.
"You're having a match?! I want to play too!" Wei Ying approaches smiling broadly, shaking his right hand in preparation.
"HanGuang-Jun, HanGuang-Jun missed you so much!"
"Wei Ying."
"hehe ~ I like it when you say my name, Lan Zhan" he announced as he walked closer.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You ... You're skipping classes again." WangJi's look was mildly recriminating which in turn made Wei Ying feel slightly melancholy at disappointing him. He tilted his head with a hesitant smile, his gaze did not take long to move away. Suddenly, the basketball court was engulfed in overwhelming silence for WangJi was doing something no one had ever expected to see. The junior jade used the sleeve of his sports shirt to clean the dirt spots on Wei Wuxian's cheeks, his actions applied with extreme delicacy and devotion.
"Lan Zhan ..." His heart swelled with inexplicable happiness. Quickly his previous tense grimace was replaced by a radiant smile. Before he could return the gesture and clean the droplets of sweat, an exaggerated feminine squeal sliced the air.
"Wei Ying is really handsome ~!" The smaller Lan pulled away slightly with a frown. Wuxian assumed that he was making a fuss of so much scandal. He loved to see those angry reactions from him so from the bottom of his heart he apologised for his next words.
"They think what? Lan Zhan is beautiful?" The girls remained silent, exchanging glances before exploding into whispers and mischievous giggles between them.
"Much nicer!" The game was all but forgotten and gradually each dispersed in small groups. MingJue dragged his brother to another free court to have a match, 1 vs 1.
"Do you want to come out with us for lunch today, Wei WuXian?"
"Go out? Sure, I'll go, I'll go!" He walked towards them, though he stopped when he felt a tug on his shirt. Looking down, he saw WangJi's small grip though the youngest Lan still wore an indifferent grimace.
