Chapter 1

Quincy wanted to be good, she wanted to have so much goodness in her heart, there wouldn't be room left for darkness, she wanted to have a soft spoken voice, she wanted to be able to express her feelings without feeling uncomfortable, she wanted to be understood, she wanted so many things

She had a great childhood, she was always happy and vibrant, no one would had expected her to be the way she is now

As a child she had amazing parents, she had a dad who would take her to a frozen yogurt shop and let her pick out as many toppings as she wanted, only if she promised not to tell her mom, he was so kind towards everyone, always understanding and supportive, the way he treated her mom made her believe that soulmates actually existed

Her mom would be holding a hair brush while singing, and her dad would be holding his phone up with the flashlight on while waving his arms side to side, that was the type of love that made Quincy believe in soulmates and she was sure her parents were soulmates

But then she experienced her own love and heartbreak and she couldn't help but doubt everything she once believed in, she fell in love with a boy named Leo

He was Quincy's first love and she his, since their families were close friends, they grew up together, causing them to be close, which eventually lead to Leo trusting her enough with his secret, around the time they turned 14, they had started dating

But around the time when they would turn 19, Leo disappeared while they were walking in the woods near their homes, when an aggressive wolf attacked them and Leo being the only one who was not human, it gave him more of an advantage So he tried to hold the wolf off while Quincy went to get help but when she returned, he would no longer be there

The worst part was Quincy never found out if he was still alive or not, for the first few years, Quincy shut down, she wasn't the same, more closed off, angry, paranoid, she wasn't necessarily a bad person, never committed any crimes but she wasn't a good one either

and she so desperately wanted to be accepted, either as a good person or bad person, she wasn't sure anymore, she just wanted to be accepted as she was while also wanting to accept herself too

So that's where marcel and Rebekah come in, the first two of the Mikaelson family she met, she'd met Rebekah first then marcel

Quincy wasn't prepared for the blonde British beauty that started to regularly show up at her work, she wouldn't leave her alone, Quincy hadn't had a date in years or even considered the possibility of getting into the dating life again, since she refused to move on from Leo maybe she still wouldn't be open to dating for a while but for now she was going to enjoy the attention she got from not only the blonde but the darker skin toned male that started to show up together with the blonde
