Rebekah, marcel and Quincy were all in Rebekah's room since they didn't want her siblings to see Quincy If they came home

"So you know about the supernatural world? How much do you know?" Rebekah questioned confused while Marcel wrapped his arms around Rebekahs waist

"I mean, not much. My ex only told me so much. He said he was a werewolf and that in order to activate his curse he had to kill someone whether it was intentional or not. He also said vampires are evil and that witches are bitches." She hummed as she recalled what he used to tell her. Marcel and Rebekah gaped and scoffed in disapproval

"That is not true"Rebekah denied "although everybody is different. There are good and bad vampires, werewolf's, and witches. Just because someone has had an encounter with one bad person who happens to be a vampire does not mean we're all bad." Marcel added

"Tell me more"Quincy leaned forward with interest. The two vampires glanced at each other before agreeing. Quincy was their mate and they wanted her to be apart of their lives so with slight hesitation they told her everything but they did leave out the fact that mates exist (at least in the supernatural world) and about the originals and the history of Rebekahs family (I want to add it later on when something happens)

Time skip cause there's lots of information about the supernatural world lol And I don't want to add all of it here.

Eventually they had moved on from the topic of supernaturals and Rebekah and marcel decided to ask Quincy about herself

"So have you ever been In love?"Rebekah asked with a smirk and raised eyebrows, marcel tried to appear uninterested but he watched her expectantly as well, Quincy blinked at the sudden question

"Uh yeah actually, when I was a teenager"she said and played with her fingers

"Oh? Why aren't you guys together anymore" Rebekah wondered out loud

"He actually went missing and I have no idea if he's even alive" she told them with a shrug but they could tell she was bothered

"We-"before Rebekah could continue, they suddenly heard Elijah and Kol conversing as they entered the house, Rebekah quickly motioned for marcel to take Quincy and leave as they didn't want rebekahs family to find out about the human girl.

"What's goin-"Rebekah placed her fingers on Quincy's lips causing said girl to frown and back away.

"Bekah come downstairs! Elijah wants to have a family dinner." Kol yelled from downstairs.

"Tell him I'm not in the mood" Rebekah declined with a frown on her face.

"Rebekah, i can smell a human in the room with you..I also smell marcel? Are you guys having a threesome?"Rebekah rolled her eyes while marcel looked slightly panicked as they didn't know where to put Quincy since Rebekah had no other exist in her room.

"Go away Kol!" She complained annoyed. Quincy looked at the two people in front of her in confusion. Who's outside the room?

"I just want to say hi...and maybe have a taste"Kols voice that was heard from downstairs was suddenly heard from right outside the door causing Rebekah and marcel to scowl.

"Taste me? Bitch what the fuck"Quincy muttered under her breath. Rebekah and marcel placed themselves in front of their mate

"Ah she speaks! And might I say she sounds lovely"Kol chuckled from outside the door when suddenly he pushed the door harshly causing it to break

"Kol! what the hell is wrong with you?!"Rebekah growled since she now needed a new door

"sister, why are you fussing? I only want a bite"he pouted and tried to rush forward yet Rebekah pushed him back harshly making him land on back with a thud, Quincy gasped at the sight and clinged onto marcels bicep

"Go away Kol!"she hissed, her eyes darkening as veins appeared under her eyes

"Why are you trying to protect this mere human"he scoffed and pushed himself up while dusting himself off

"I am not your snack you asshole!"Quincy glared and huffed, marcel sighed at his mates words since he knew it would only anger the original

"What did you just call me?! I ought to-"

"Enough brother"Elijah clasped his hand on kols shoulder with a sigh "must you always instigate a fight" he scolded his brother in annoyance

"Why are you scolding me?!"kol huffed, Once Quincy deemed it was safe she peeked behind marcel and locked eyes with one of the unknown males causing him to pause and open his mouth in shock

"What?"Rebekah questioned in confusion, Elijah slowly followed his brothers gaze and his eyes landed on the clueless human standing behind marcel who was still stiff since he was protective of his young mate

"How is this possible?" Elijah whispered to himself, he already has a mate. How could he have another?

"Stop looking at her!"Rebekah growled, her inner vampire feeling protective and possessive. Marcel felt himself feeling restless as he felt his first mates distress

"Rebekah, this girl is my mate. Please step aside." Elijah while still not understanding how it's possible didn't feel the need to question it. She was his mate and he wasn't going to complain.

"What?!"The four vampires screeched while Quincy stood aside confused.

What The fuck is a mate? And why is He referring to her as that.
