Haley's P.O.V
I wake up and go to dance. I am sad about this whole competition between Maddie and I but she is being really mean. I do not feel included into the group and neither does my mom because she isn't the fighting type, and she doesn't swear like ever. But, her and Melissa get along.
I drive to dance and look at my Instagram, DanceFiesta said "You are snotty and bratty." MomsDance said, "You can't just come in with your tangly hair and beat Maddie you are worse than her." Then, ALDCpumpkinpie said, "You are fat, and ugly you need to do conditioning." I start silently crying but my mom hears me.
"Honey what's wrong?" My mom asks. "A bunch of people on Instagram are saying I'm fat and ugly, and that I'm not a good dancer. I feel so unimportant." I shriek. "Honey, you are not unimportant, those girls are jealous and people feel bad for Maddie and they like her better because she's been on the show longer. But, dont believe anything they say. Maddie used to get lots of hate-mail and people liked Chloe better than her." My mom says.
"Yeah, I mean that is the life of being famous. I guess," I reply dramatically. "Well we're here try to talk to Maddie her mom wants her to talk to you too, make new friends." She kisses me and we walk into the studio.
"Hi!" I exclaim, to the girls. "Hey," Mackenzie replies. "Maddie, listen I know you are feeling really deeply sad and I just wanted to say I am sorry, I just wanted summer dance lessons, I didn't mean for it to get this far." I inform. "You know... Abby's is looking to replace me with you I get it okay just stop talking to me." Maddie replies.
"I started getting my first bunch if hatemail today, and it feels really bad. I know you got a lot of hatemail too and now I know what it's like to be in your shoes. You're a better dancer than me and we're only a year difference." I mumble. "I said don't talk to me." Maddie growls. I sigh. Being friends with Maddie is gonna be harder than I thought.
