Maddie's P.O.V
Today I woke up, happy. The first time I had been happy for a long time. Haley was my best friend, and yesterday I got a text from Gieno he told me he liked me and asked me out! He said he just has two more weeks in the hospital and then he can come back to the studio again, thank goodness! I eat breakfast and then get a text from Kendall:
Kendall: Hey! How was your sleepover, did you die of boredness? 😋
Maddie: No, actually it was sorta fun!
Kendall: Oh, well I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place and swim. If you want we could invite Haley too!
Maddie: Sure, I'll go ask her😄!
Kendall: 😄
I ask Haley who agrees and I tell Kendall, two minutes later we are at the swimming pool! Okay not literally, but it was quick. We get there and it was great! Then, Haley went to go to the bathroom and Kendall said, "Like isn't Haley super annoying?" "Not really," I reply awkwardly. She grins and shrugs, then sighs, "I feel like you like her better than me..." Kendall whispers. "Remember you are my best friend and hey, be nice to Haley she is actually really nice." I say smiling. "Whatever," Kendall replies. Haley comes back as if on Que. I hope she didn't hear all that. We keep swimming then Haley and I have to leave, Haley's mom takes me home. (at my house) "Hey thanks for dropping me off, and Haley that was a really fun sleepover. See ya later tonight at six right?" I ask. "six thirty." She replies. "Thanks, bye!" I shriek "See ya!" She shouts.
