This story takes place after Lavanya and Arnav's engagement and they both get engaged and married but Lavanya was not Arnav's girlfriend and not working in AR they both have an arranged marriage and Lavanya is a traditional girl and she is Khushi classmate/best friend. Arnav and Lavanya sign a prenuptial agreement. Next day after their marriage. In Arya's(Arnav and Lavanya's) room. Lavanya woke up and found her newly wedded husband sleeping on the recliner she was sad as she realised that he does not love her. She got up out of the bed and entered the bathroom and wore a simple red lehenga and jade Kundan jewellery that she was gifted by Arnav's sister Anjali.

Her jewellery Once she was done dressing Arnav woke up, she turned around and said: "Good morning Arnavji." Arnav: "Yeah whatever and listen we will behave like husband and wife in front of people but in MY room we will behave as roommates. We will full our responsibilities to each other. Do you understand? " Lavanya: "Ji. I will bring you your coffee." Arnav: "Ok and if you tell anyone about this do you will be punished understand." Lavanya: "J...ji." Lavanya left the room and went to make coffee for Arnav. She was teased whole day but never mentioned anything Arnav told her. Then Lavanya and Payal left for their home for the pegphera rasam. At the Gupta house... Payal reached the Gupta house and they gave her a warm welcome and Payal asked: "Amma where is Khushi." Garima: "She left the city. Actually yesterday I noticed that she was gloomy and had a fake smile and today she announced that she is leaving Delhi and moving to Musoorie." Payal: "What! How could you not inform me? I could meet my baby sister. Amma how could you not tell me." Garima: "She told me that she does not want to disturb you and apparently she got a scholarship at one of the universities there so she left." Payal: "Ok Amma I will contact her once I go back. Now let us eat I am starving I did eat." Amma: "Ok go sit on the table and I will bring the food." Payal: "Ok Amma." In the evening Arnav and Akash picked up their wives and headed home. At shantivan... Payal calls Khushi and asks how she is doing and tells her to take care of herself and to call her every day and Khushi tells her not to inform anyone about her admission etc. Raizadas overhear the conversation. Nani: "Betiyaan what happened to Khushi betiyaan." Payal: "Dadiji she left for Mussoorie today." Nani: "Oh ok. Why betiyaan." Payal: "She got some work there so she left Delhi. ' Nani: "That is very good convey out regards to her when you speak to her again."
In Arya's room... Arnav enters and sees Lavanya sitting by the poolside he goes to his closet takes out his nightwear and goes in the bathroom. When he comes out of the bathroom Lavanya comes inside. Lavanya: "Ahmm... Arnavji are we going to legalise our marriage?" Arnav: "Are you out of your mind I am not legalising our marriage. "
4 years later...
Every day was the same for Lavanya for the past 4 years. She would wake up get ready to make coffee for Arnav and bring to him and he would scold her but it was not regular. Then would go and make breakfast for everyone with Payal and once breakfast was done she would continue to do to some household chores. Continue with her hobbies which are Sewing, Knitting, painting and doing pottery sometimes mami would pass some comments about Lavanya as she never really liked Lavanya. Then in the evening she and Payal would make dinner and after eating she goes to her and sleep. Arnav and Lavanya never really had any physical intimacy they did consummate their marriage but it was not a regular thing. She craved to be loved and hugged by her husband. Sometimes she would envy Payal because Payal would be hugged and loved a lot from her husband. Maybe she just could not receive it because Arnav was a very busy man. But little did she know that Arnav started loving her. More and more each day but could not express it openly.
One day after dinner in Nani's room Nani said: "Lavanya betiyaan when are you and Chotte going to give us good news. I hope it is soon because Payal betiyaan can't have children and I want to see my great-grandchildren before I die." Arnav just arrives and he overhears everything. Lavanya: "Naniji... ok naniji I will speak to you later as Arnavji came ok." Nani: "Teek hai betiyaan." Lavanya goes to their room... Lavanya: "Arnavji I need to speak to you please." Arnav: "Lavanya I heard everything Nani told you." Lavanya: "Then Arnavji we should for a baby to make naniji happy." Arnav: "No Lavanya absolutely not." Lavanya: "But isn't it a responsibility of yours and you promised to fulfil all of your responsibilities didn't you well I did not know that Mr Arnav Singh Raizada breaks his promises.: Arnav: "Fine this we will try for a month and then it will be the last time thing do you understand. If you do not conceive we will go for surrogacy do you understand? " Lavanya:"Ok i agree." * * * * * * * * * * * *
After that one month, Lavanya did not conceive so they went for surrogacy. After a couple of weeks, the pregnancy reports arrived at Shantivan and the entire family was present. Lavanya opened the report and was shocked at the contents too shocked to reply Arnav took it from her hand and he too was shocked but recovered and said... Arnav: "Nani she is infertile. She can not have children." Lavanya burst into tears and runs upstairs to their room, Arnav felt a bit sorry for her and went after her. Nani: "It looks like this family is not destined for an heir." She said and was crying. Mami: "Maaji don't say that... maaji why don't we get Arnav betuwa married again to someone else." Nani: "Have you lost it Manorama. Which family will give their daughter to a married man?" Mami: "Maaji I know a family that will do and if you agree I myself would go and talk to them and since the media don't know about Arnav betuwa's marriage it would make things easier as we will announce that girl as The Business Tycoon ASR's wife." Nani: "I agree but first speak to Chotte and Lavanya betiyaan." Mami: "Ok Maaji. Anjali betiyaan do you agree with my decision. " Anajli: "Yes Mami I completely agree with you and also I really did not like Lavanya but I will also come with to speak to the girls family." Mami: "Wonderful betiyaan I think I will talk to Arnav betuwa and Lavanya when things settle down."
