You wiped away your tears as you calmed down, now enjoying the warmth of his embrace. You had so many questions swirling in your head and you needed answers. It had been a while since you had seen him, touched him, it seemed like forever. He stroked your back and you looked at him. He was in a different form as he used to be. You didn't deny that he looked handsome tho. As if reading your mind he spoke up. "I had to turn into this to get to you... It took some time, but I finally did!" He said and smiled at you sweetly. You smiled back at him. He was looking for you this whole time and that made you happy. "How did you find me? And...what is all this? I-I want to go back to the cave.... To our cave.." you said and felt the tears coming again. He stroked your head softly, calming you down. "Don't worry sugar, I came to get you out of here. We'll talk about this later for now, let's go back to the others. I don't want to admit it, but some of them are worried about you..." He said looking towards the door. He unbuckled the chains that held you to the wall and you could finally stand up without being held back. You smiled and waved your tail. You noticed him staring at your feline features and you sighed, lowering your tail a bit. "I...since I got here it seems like it's getting worse... Somehow more of my cat features are coming out...I still don't know what the meaning of this is.." you said, happy that you could finally talk to someone who understood the situation you were in. He nodded slightly and kissed you softly. "Y/N, I promise everything will be alright. You just have to promise me one thing as of right now." He said, his expression turning from soft to serious. You gazes into his eyes, a bit worried. "The moment we step out of this door," he pointed to the door in front of you. "We won't know each other. We'll be strangers, at least in front of them. You have to be strong. Ok?" He said and your ears dropped on your head. You finally had him in front of you. You could finally embrace him, kiss him, touch him... But you weren't allowed to in front of the others... This made you sad, but soon you sighed and looked back at him proudly. You nodded courageously and he smiled at you. Together you stepped to the door and the moment he opened it it felt like your emotions got washed off your face. Everything left your features, only a small smile stayed. As you both stepped out the room you noticed that you were in a part of the house that you haven't been in before. You followed him up the stairs and stepped inside a hallway that lead into the kitchen. Oh.. so you had been in the basement. You thought about the structure of the house as Nathan's voice cut in. "You feeling better?" He asked and you looked at him and nodded. "Yeah my neck is just a bit sore.." you said and he nodded. Why would he even care? You shook your head and turned to Penny. "Uhm..thank you. If you hadn't shown up, it could have turned into an even worse situation." You said and he smiled a bit. "No, I heard the fight in the distance. You were lucky you got away with just a few wounds." He said and he sounded a bit distant. "Well, Y/N. I guess you know know who Henry is. (sry couldn't come up with a fake name) you held backs chuckle as you looked up at him. Henry, huh? You saw his expression change for a split second, stating that he wasn't too fond of it either. You nodded. "Yeah, he told me everything. Sorry for the trouble.. I shouldn't have attached more than one.." you apologized to Nathan and he shook his head, arms crossed. "It's fine. I'm not mad. At least now we have more prey" he said with a proud smile. So they took their bodies too. You smiled back. "So, I don't know if Henry told you, but he'll be staying here for a while. He's more than welcome since he doesn't have a home." Nathan stated and you looked at Penny a bit surprised. "Oh, you're staying?" You asked and he smiled. "is it bothering you?" He asked and you shook your head politely. "Oh, no I was just surprised, is all." You said and he nodded. "It's almost dinner time. Y/N could you show him his room? It's opposite yours. I'll be helping Darren prepare the food." You nodded and walked towards the stairs. "I'll show you, just follow me." You told 'Henry' and he nodded. Both of you walked up the stairs in silence until Nathan was out of reach. Penny spoke up. "So he's being awfully friendly towards you." He said and you chuckled slightly. "aww, is someone jealous?" You teased and he huffed. "Come, you're lucky that you got the room opposite me~" you said and walked towards your room. You opened his door and showed him. "This is it. And this is my room." You said and pointed to your door. He nodded slightly. "..Do you like it here? I mean... They're all kind of like you and-" you interrupted him. "No! I want to be with you, no one else. And they are not like me. I'm an Eldritch. Even if it got mixed up with a little bit of cat genes~" you chuckled as he smiled at you warmly. You hugged him and purred. He petted your head as you heard Darren shout from downstairs. "Dinner's ready!" You sighed as you let go of your beloved and the both of you walked downstairs. As you reached the kitchen, you saw the mood was a bit down. Krista looked up at you and immediately ran up to you. "Are you ok? Oh dear, you're all wrapped up in bandages." She sounded worried. Maddy on the contrary just stared at you, with the same sharp glare as before. You sighed. "Yeah, I'm fine." Suddenly Krista's gaze turned sad. She turned to Nathan and he furrowed his brows. "So... Meg's still not been found. We don't know what happened to her." Krista had tears in her eyes. "I told you! She's gone!" Her tears now streamed down her face.
