As the sun began to set, everyone regrouped for a bonfire. Jonah and Tate didn't seem to be on good terms but he still had his arm wrapped around her. Kay and Zach seemed to be on worse terms than Tate and Jonah. Although it did seem that Kay was creating the distance between them, she still sat on his lap. Anyone with eyes could see her glaring at Zoe who was on the complete opposite side of the fire, away from the couple. Zach seemed uncomfortable and Zoe was just wishing that she could turn back time. If only she didn't type in the wrong number. But she really can't complain, she gained seven new best friends.

"Zoe, you should get your guitar out of your car and play a song for us," Leah says turning towards the girl in question.

"Wait, you can play guitar? can you sing too?" Christina exclaims in obvious shock.

"Oh yeah, she can. she also plays the piano and writes really good music!" Mila laughs as Zoe tries to hide her face from embarrassment.

"Cut it out you two, I sound like a dying cat and can't write for shit," Zoe whines falling back into the sand.

"I'm sure you don't," Gabbie says standing up, "Come on I'll go with you to get your guitar."

Sighing Zoe grabs Gabbie's hand and stands up. She would have put up more of a fight but she knew that she wasn't going to get out of it so she might as well just let it happen. As the two walk towards the car, the rest of the group were laughing and cheering. Minus Kay and Tate of course. Zoe quickly unlocks her car opening the back trunk. Reaching in, she grabs her guitar then closes the trunk, walking back beside Gabbie.

"I hate Leah and Mila," Zoe grumbles, plotting ways to embarrass them in her head.

"No you don't," Gabbie giggles slinging her arm around Zoe, "you just don't want to embarrass yourself."

"No I don't hate them," Zoe sighs, "I hate when you're right".

"I get that a lot," Gabbie chuckles as they arrive back to the group. Gabbie takes her seat next to Jack while Zoe sits between Leah and Mila. Zoe positions the guitar in her lap, cursing her friends under her breath.

"Alright, any suggestions?" Zoe mumbles wishing the ocean would come and carry her away so she didn't have to do this.

"Do you know one of our songs?" Corbyn questions adjusting his arm around Christina.

"Dude I only found out about the band's existence like three days ago," Zoe laughs shaking her head.

"So? it should be easy to learn a song if you're so skilled," Kay snarks rolling her eyes. Zoe carefully holds back her retort of having a higher IQ and just smiles sarcastically at her.

"Kay, me being able to play a few instruments does not mean I can memorize a song in five minutes. I still go to school so I have not had time. I'll make sure that I memorize one for you next time," Zoe says sweetly while tuning her guitar, "But I do have something in mind that has to do with you guys somewhat."

"Don't talk to her like you're smarter than her, bitch," Tate sneers trying to get a reaction.

"Kay has the IQ of a walnut, Zoe's smarter than both you and her combined," Mila laughs, not caring for the consequences.

"Alright let's just stop this now so I can make you go temporarily deaf," Zoe says smiling sweetly at Tate and Kay.

"Have you decided on a song?" Jonah questions trying to move things along.

"I'm just gonna surprise you," Zoe sighs really not wanting to do this. Zoe takes a deep breath clearing her head of her thoughts and begins strumming.
