Chapter Six: Old School

When I came to my senses on what just happened I finally made up my mind on what I wanted to do. I walked over to Jake's house to tell him my decision, and I'm sure this is for the best.

"Jake, the stakes are high. I don't know what else to say. I don't need your help anymore. It's to dangerous to be what I have become. I can't risk it for anyone, not anymore."

"What do you mean?, you are done with me?," he asked.

"I can walk the path only the Jackson Storm can walk. I got to face my demons alone," I said as I walked out.

Throughout the remainder of the month, the grandpa did not show up back at home. Jake's mom found no reason for them to stay in California, so they left back to Arizona. Jake was  enrolled  again back at his old school and was with all his old friends again. I mean, that is all he ever wanted, right?

"Welcome back Jacob," said the Principal.

"Thanks," he replied.

Back at home, Jake felt happy but felt like something was missing. He felt empty inside.

Look, I didn't mean to push Jake away, I got to just do it alone. I went out looking for the organization and Jake's grandpa weather or not they were dead. I didn't need Jake or Sydney or Penelope or Jerry or any of them.

 I strolled right into their hideout which they were building the Storm killer. I found Rome waiting for me along with the grandpa, The C.E.O., his secretary, the Project manager, the Director, and a worker. My whole entire rouges gallery was having a party and I was the guest of honor.

Jake sensed that there was something wrong. He didn't know how but, he knew the storm was in trouble. So he developed a plan of attack.

It had been a few hours since I had arrived. I could not hold my ground against all of them. But then I realized that I did not have too. Because standing at the front of the organization was Jake.

"Sorry we are a little late," he said.

"Excuse me," started the secretary, "We?"

And in walked Jerry, and Penelope. Now I had the upper hand. I realized it was a mistake to push Jake away. May be he won't be bad to have around in the future, later on down the road.

We creamed them all, especially with the help of Penelope with all the crazy things she was doing. The only one who escaped was the grandpa, but as I have learned, he always has an end game. We turned all the rest of them into the government.

"You won't get away with this!," yelled Rome, "There's still more of us out there, you'll see!"

The secret organization shut down for good, and shortly after that I felt relieved.

The next day after school  Sydney was greeted by a old man. She didn't know what to think at first. But when he started talking about her dad and how he was the Overseer of her Dad's company, Sydney instantly wanted to know more. And when he exposed the name of who murdered her Dad, everything changed.
