Chapter Eight: Connecting the Dots

I stopped my  greatest enemy of all time, I took down the organization, I made everything right with Jake so only one question remains: What now?

Without the organization, or Rome Norrington or any of those people: Am I still Jackson Storm? What is my purpose, if I have no rival? Should I have died trying when fighting the organization? Should I even be alive because of everything that has happened? The truth is: I don't know.

So I wanted answers and what ever was inside the organization would may be tell me. And I found it, well may be. I found the hard drive with all the stuff still on it. I played it listening to what it had to say.

"Test #74," said the C.E.O. in the video, "Let's see how this goes."

The camera zoomed in on what looked like green goo and a  resurrected Stevie Voorhees coming out of it.

"It was a success!," yelled the Director.

"I'm Rome Norrington and I approve of this project," said Rome.

I gulped. If this video wasn't done with special effects, then it was time to worry. It was all coming together now. The grandpa's plan, the organization, all of it. And for some reason, I knew who could help me.

"Yep that's me, Mr. Fahrenheit. Who's asking actually?," asked Mr. Fahrenheit.

"I am," I replied a little confused, "I was wondering if you knew anything about a explosion at a secret organization."

And shortly after that, he kidnapped me.

When he pulled the bag he put on my head off my head I was face to face with Jake's grandpa.

"You want to know about that night huh?," he asked.

Since I knew I couldn't get myself out of this one I answered "yes."

"Well you see, I needed to come up with a creative way to kill your friend Cyclone's Dad. I managed to convince your other friend Friday to follow you but also be armed. I set off the explosion, and she accidentally pulled the trigger. But she saved you. You should of been dead, but no matter, I could eliminate you now!"

"I was alone. My luck had finally ran out, if I had any at all. Well it's been real and I had a whole lot of fun. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I had real fun doing what I do," I said.

"So then what happened?," asked Jerry in the ice cream parlor they were talking in the next day.

"I escaped, what else can I say," I replied.

"Are you going to catch them all?," he asked.

"Eventually, Jackson Storm will always have enemies. The more I improve the more they improve. The war I've fought solo doesn't need to be fought alone anymore. I got my friends and family to help me along the way. All my life they stood by me when no one else was behind me, and I will never forget that."

"Did you come up with that or did you write that down first?," asked Jerry.

"I wrote it down first," I said with a smile.

Meanwhile Sydney Cyclone was in the abandoned organization. She was hoping to find.... something, anything at all. All she knew is that Jackson Storm was her opposite, her rival. She must avenge her father, it was the only way she thought. Time for the Storm to pay.
