Hacker Pt.2

Not long after the chat with Nya, a frantic Taehyung woke Jimin from his slumber who then quickly woke up the rest of the members to join them in their bedroom.

After letting the guards know via their home phone about the situation, all of them were now seated on Taehyung's bed with him as he sniffed, Jimin offering his shoulder and hand for comfort.

"I know it's not her. It has to be the hacker. The guards will confirm it I know!" Taehyung cried. "We don't know her that well, but we at least know how she chats and that she dislikes the words 오빠 and 누나."

"I really hope that the guards don't get hurt by this hacker though. Why are they doing this to us? Why are there people like this in this world? Harming others for pure enjoyment? I really hope he didn't hurt her since it's clear he has her captive," Hoseok added with a lump in his throat.

Taehyung cried harder at that, hiding his face in Jimin's neck who tried not to cry himself. Hoseok sat on the other side of Taehyung and rubbed his back. "Sorry, Tae."

Meanwhile Jungguk, Namjoon, Seokjin and Yoongi didn't know what they could say or do to assist in comforting Taehyung as everyone was frightened themselves, so they watched on.

Namjoon felt disappointed with himself for not providing his brothers with reassurance as the leader, but in times like this, it proved that he was human just like everyone else as he was scared just as much as they all were and that he was allowed to feel scared. He didn't ponder too long on it though, and quickly accepted that it was okay to be scared and to not lead and say words of wisdom all the time.

One of the guards called back and Yoongi answered, putting it on speaker. They all straightened their backs.

"Hello? Yoongi-씨?"

The said man gulped. "에."

"Pd-nim has requested that you all stay inside of the dorm. Do not open for anyone, not even us. Fortunately, we have confirmed that there was no intruder in or around the premises. The hacker has just been toying with you once again. Pd-nim has already informed one of the officers from last time as they have now opened a case."

"What do you mean?" Taehyung jumped up in fright. "Did something happen to Nya?" He sobbed, Jungguk pulling him in a hug.

"No new information has been found on Nya-씨. My apologies. That is the end of the report. We will continue to stand guard now. Please stay inside and don't open for anyone."

Yoongi licked his lips. "Alright, thank you. Please be safe," he said before cutting the call.

Silence filled the room, all of them feeling frightened and helpless that they weren't able to help bring Nya to safety.

"What has our life come to?" Seokjin sighed, breaking the silence.

"We've had stalkers before, but never like this," Jimin added.

"What if this never ends? What if they never find- " "They'll find her," Namjoon cut Taehyung off, patting his back while Jungguk slung an arm around him.

Namjoon let out a sigh. "For now, let's try to get some sleep."

"Can we stay together please?"

Everyone turned to Taehyung, the man sniffing.

"I-I know I seem pathetic to be a grown man scared like this-"

"You're not pathetic, and it doesn't matter how old you are or if you're a man. If you're scared, you're scared. Who in here isn't?" Yoongi challenged, none of them saying a word.

"Let's set up the beds then," he said, the 형 line deciding to get the beds and set them up in Taehyung and Jimin's room while the 막내 line stayed behind, hoping that everything would go back to the way it was.
