Before Shan Shan could think Feng Teng's number flashed in her phone ....but she quickly disconnected it... and switched the cellphone off.
Her color faded...
The discussion about children with Feng Teng rose up in her mind.....then she remembered the argument with her father.
"Ohhhhh Shan Shan" she thought to herself "need to handle this carefully"
It was some time before she could move. She slowly got up and started go home, forgetting that her sister in law was waiting for her in the lobby of the hospital.
After so many years of using public transport, her steps automatically took her to the bus...
She found an empty seat and tried to wrap her head around the fact that she may be pregnant. Dazed and disoriented, all she could see in her mind were pictures of small babies....

She had lost complete track of time as she meandered slowly home.
