As soon as the men left, Sue looked to see if she could also lock the door from the inside.
She thought she figured it out. Then she made sure Jack was lying comfortably on the couch. She refused to let panic set in, but she couldn't help wonder what they wanted with them.
"We'll be fine, little one," she whispered, rubbing her stomach. She was staving, but didn't feel like eating. She began touring their golden jail.
The room they were in was like a living room with a small kitchen off the side, and sliding doors that opened on a balcony. To her surprise, she could go outside. But unless she was willing to jump down twelve storeys, she couldn't escape from there, still the fresh air was nice and she let the door ajar.
She gasped as she saw the adjacent room. It was as big, if not bigger. A huge bed shaped in heart stood in the middle. When she looked up she saw the ceiling was all mirrors. She could feel the heat going to her cheek as her mind wandered to
She shook her head. They were prisoners here. There were probably cameras or something. Her gaze fell on a set of double glass doors. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi for two, a shower for two...
She liked when Jack washed her back, his hands
She jumped and screamed, turning abruptly as a hand came to rest on her shoulder.
"Sorry," he murmured, taking her in his arms. "When I opened my eyes and didn't see you, I—"
"It's fine, Jack." She ran her fingers alongside his hairline before pressing her lips lightly against his.
He tightened his hold of her, taking over the kiss as her lips parted for him and sharing his exploration. Shakily, he let her go, his legs suddenly unsteady beneath him. He almost stumbled, leaning against her for support.
"Easy, Jack," she advised as she dragged him to the bed where he collapsed. She ran to the bathroom for a cold facecloth. "I didn't know I still had that effect on you," she teased as she placed it over his head.
"Oh, yes," he smiled weakly, reaching for her hand. "Why is there a rock band in my head?" It was pounding like crazy. He recalled a needle. "Did they hurt you or the baby?" His deepest fear and concerns were expressed on his face.
"No, Jack. They didn't," she assured stroking his cheek reassuringly. "But they drugged you. They said you would get a headache."
"They lied. It's not an ache, it's an explosion. Where are—"
She pressed her fingers on his lips to silence him. She felt his tongue licking them instead. She smiled. At least they were together. "Just rest until the pounding stops, then I will tell you everything I know." Which wasn't much, she thought.
"Lie down with me," he whispered. "I need you."
She happily complied, moulding her body against his, her head on his shoulder while her arms rested possessively across his chest.
"I love you, Jack," she told him as his arms enveloped her. 'God, please, keep my husband and my baby safe,' she prayed, silently, as tears began to form.
But she drifted to sleep before they made their descent down her cheeks.

Bobby brought back Levi with him. The dog followed him obediently, which was good considering he had no leash or collar. Bobby dropped everything at the lab, hoping to get some fingerprints out of it.
He was frustrated. And Sue's parents were worried sick. Jack and Sue's luggage were still in the guests' room they shared, along with Sue's gorgeous wedding dress, which Bobby probably shouldn't have seen. The silver convertible was in the driveway.
