Vivienne, Harry, Hermione and Ron are walking along a path with Hagrid, talking. It's been a few days after Gryffindor won and Slytherin still have the blues. They make their way to Hagrid's small hut, outside of the school and smoke is pouring out the chimney.
"Can't believe Snape cursed your broom, Harry!" Vivienne speaks, her voice a bit rough from the game and her cheering.
"Nonsense. Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Asks Hagrid, his eyes going dull and their usual sparkle leaving them.
"Who knows. Why was he trying to get past that 3 headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asks Hagrid, his voice sounding like a know it all.
"Who told you 'bout Fluffy?" Hagrid asks surprised, looking at the students following him.
"Fluffy?" Gapes Ron, his eyeballs nearly falling out of his head.
"That thing has a name?" Hermione says, her eyes going to Hagrid and back to the castle.
"Well, of course he's got a name. He's mine. I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at the pub last year. Then I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the..." Hagrid trails off, his face growing red in embarrassment.
"Yes?" Presses Vivienne, crossing her arms and stopping the tall man in his tracks.
"Shouldn'ta said that. Don't ask any more questions. That's top secret, that is," he shouts.
"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it!" Whines Harry.
"Codswallop. Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher," states Hagrid, his defensive side coming through.
"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a curse when I see one. I've read all about them. You have to keep eye contact. And Snape wasn't blinking," argues Hermione.
"Of course she did," murmurs Vivienne.
"Exactly," agrees Harry, looking deeply into Hagrid's dark eyes.
Hagrid sighs, "now, you listen to me, all three of you. You're meddlin' in things that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel.
"Nicholas Flamel?" Vivienne asks curiously.
"I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that. I should not have said that," shuns Hagrid and he walks away from the group.
"Nicholas Flamel...Who's Nicholas Flamel?" He turns to his trusty book girls.
Vivienne shakes her head and looks down at the ground.
"I don't know," whispers Hermione.

Christmas.
A snowy castle, covered in snowflakes and surrounded by a frozen lake. Vivienne stares at the frost covering the water covered windows in her common room. Her trunk is packed, her pets in their carriers and Medusa is snug in her snake sweater. She couldn't wait for the holidays to begin, to spend time with her parents and her awaiting gifts. She could tell them all about the troll, her first ever Quidditch match and tell them all about her friends.
"Where are you heading over winter?" Draco asks from the stair well that leads to his dorm.
"Home..." she sighs with relief and flops onto the couch, "that isn't a bad thing, but not seeing anyone and only walls might get boring."
"You could always...I don't know, come to mine?" He asks sweetly.
"I would love that! Thank you," she gets off the couch and hugs the blonde, her long blonde curls covering the both of them.
"Anytime..." he wraps his arms around her shoulders.
"Bye, Draco." She gives him a small kiss on the cheek, she picks up the belongings and heads out the door.

Inside the great hall, students are leaving and ghosts are singing, Hermione and Vivienne approaches the empty tables, wheeling a cart each. They go to Ron and Harry, who are playing chess.

"Knight to E-5," Harry says, watching the board with pieces scattered over it

"Knight to E-5," Harry says, watching the board with pieces scattered over it.
A piece moves across the board. Ron thinks for a moment.
"Queen to E-5," Ron says smugly he watches the queen walk over to E-5 and clinks the knight away.
"That's totally barbaric!" Claims Hermione, staring at the board as Vivienne giggles.
"That's wizard's chess. I see you've packed," nods Ron, his head points to the girls trunks.
"See you haven't," retorts Hermione, pointing her chin at Ron.
"Change of plans. My parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother, Charlie. He's studying dragons there!" Informs Ron.
Vivienne's eyes go wide, her jaw drops, "your brother works with dragons! Cool!"
Ron smiles at her then looks back to Hermione.
"Good. You can help Harry, then. He's going to go the library for information on Nicholas Flamel," she suggests.
"We've looked a hundred times!" Complains Ron.
"Not in the restricted section...Happy Christmas," Hermione leaves, her trunk trailing behind her.
"I think we've had a bad influence on her."
"Sure have, see you guys later!" With a wave, Vivienne leaves for the platform.

Vivienne steps outside, the snow covers everything. She steps out from under the roof and into the cold air. A horse drawn carriage approaches her, the blinding white horses stop in front of her, their huge feet and long manes catch her eye. No coach seems to be guiding them. She looks around, no one seems to be claiming the carriage and no one is around too. She climbs into the carriage, sitting herself on the plush seats and wrapping her robes around her tightly, her scarf only there for her neck. The carriage pulls away from the castle, riding over the black lake, that was completely frozen and white.

The wind hits her pale cheeks, causing them to go red and cold

The wind hits her pale cheeks, causing them to go red and cold. She turns her head to the castle, she sees a white owl soar out of the castle grounds and disappears into the air. She turns her head to the carrier in her lap, she opens the door and Night flies out onto the seat in front of her. "Fly home, Night. I'll meet you there," she whispers.
The black owl flies off in to the blizzard ahead of them. The ride continues to the station, where the Hogwarts Express waits in the snow. The carriage stops, she grabs her things and makes her way into the train. She finds a compartment and starts her journey home.
