Today after finishing another hunger games, the guys and I decided to take a break from recording. We all agreed to grab some coffee. "Starbucks?" Asked Adam "Nah, too expensive." Jason answered but then asked, "What about Dutch Bros?" "No thanks biggums, it's way to crowded!" Replied Jerome. "How about that café we saw the other day? It looked good." I asked. "Sure!" Everyone answered. Greatest decision I have ever made.
We parked at the café, walking inside seeing a fan or two and we strolled over to the barista. I noticed something. She was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Brown eyes, pink lips, and wavy brown luscious hair. As the Adam ordered our drinks I stood there in awe.
When she said she knew us on YouTube I awkwardly whispered in her ear, "Are you a fan?" Immeaditily regretting it after. What if she thinks I'm a stalker or something?! I decided to try to keep calm and smiled when she said that after work she would sit by us.
Once she handed us our coffees I took a deep breath making a very long loud sigh. "What's wrong Mitch?" Ian asked. "I bet it's that girl he likes!" Yelled Jerome."MITCH HAS A GIRLFRIEND! MITCH HAS A GIRLFRIEND!" Adam screamed loud enough that everyone including the girl looked at us. I saw her blushing, I hope that is a good sign.
"Shut up! She will hear!" I yelled with a squeak in my voice. After about 45 minutes of them teasing me the barista walked over. "Hey I'm Mitch!" I said quickly."Haha I know, remember I watch your videos?" She answered. Again for the second time today, I was embarrassed.
We talked for a while, I lost count of time. Until Jason decided to say something that made me fume.
"Do you maybe want to sing together sometime?" He said winking.
Winking!? Can't he tell I like her?
"You okay buddy?" Jerome whispers in my ear.
I just nod, I bet he can tell I like her but I guess not Jason.
Adam advised that we went back to the house to finish our recordings and we walked out. All I could think about was her. I realized this was a once in a long time chance!
I ran back to the café hoping she was still there and while running I wrote my number on a piece of paper from our receipt. I handed it to her smiling. She responded confused. I gave it to her straight," Call me."
And out the door I ran.
