Chapter 4 - School

BEEP BEEP BEEP
I slammed my hand down onto my alarm clock. I lazily walked out of bed putting on a YOLO tank top and some blue skinny jeans. "Bye mom!" I yelled before rushing out to the bus stop.

~~~TIME SKIP TO SCHOOL~~~

I quickly rushed to first period but got stopped. Jessica was standing before me. "Where did you get that shirt? Loser 21?!" She yells at me as her minions bust out laughing. Everyone is scared of Jessica but no one stands up to her, this is my moment. My time to shine. "No, but where did you get those shoes? The croc store?!" I hear everyone gasp and think to myself, is this worth it? Worth the beating I might get? Might as well try.

"What did you say to me?!" She screamed. "I said that no one likes you and your an attention whore!" Before she could think of a good comeback, I grabbed my backpack and sprinted to History class. I looked around at open seats seeing that Jessica's usual seat is not taken.

She probably skipped class so she wouldn't be embarrassed by me. I laughed to myself. "Uhum! Ms. Smith please sit down!" Mr. Archer commands me. I find the closest seat that I can and take out my notes but doodle instead."Thank you. Okay, today class we have two new students. This is Mitchell Hughes and Jerome Aceti." "Actually it's Mitch." Says a familiar voice.

I slowly lift up my head gasping quietly so no-one would notice. Mitch sits right next to me and pulls out a notebook. "Hi." He whispers. "Hi!" "Why was this seat open? Who wouldn't want to sit next to this beautiful girl?" He flirts. My cheeks turned a rosy pink.

Before I knew it class was over and the rest of the day was me looking for Mitch. "He must not be in my class." I thought to myself. I sat down next to Bridjet who seemed less interested to my conversation then usual. "Are you okay?" I asked politely. "Yeah... I just found this REALLY cute boy over there!" She points to Mitch. There he is, sitting right next to Jessica.

"You know that's Mitch right? And don't you have a boyfriend!?" I can't believe this! She knew I loved mitch! "Yea but I think I love that boy." Oh my god no. "Bridjet!" I shook her by her shoulders. "What!" She screamed causing everyone to look at us. "Shhhhhhh be quiet!" I whispered.

Spanish class, geometry class, language arts class, and physics class passed by before the bell rung concluding the end of the day. I walked outside seeing Jessica and her little gang, I guess she didn't play hooky? "Where do you think your going?" She asked pulling my hoodie. "Home."

"You don't think that I'm going to let you by your little mishaps this morning do you? Me and my new hot boyfriend will show you not to do it again." She stated. Boyfriend? I glance to the left then right seeing the one and only, Mitchell Donald Ralph Hughes.

After the ugly teacher introduces me and my biggums to the class I sit down at a desk. "Hi." I say to the girl next to me, not knowing who they were because I was too busy drawing ideas for the hunger games song.

"Hi!" I looked over to the pretty girl I saw at the coffee shop the other day. "Why was this seat open? Who wouldn't want to sit next to a girl as beautiful as you?" She blushes and has an adorable smile. Lunch comes by very quickly and this hot popular girl comes and invites me to her table.

You could tell she was the snotty popular girl because all the jocks and plastics (A.N Mean Girl reference) were her minions. "Hey um, would you like to take me to dinner soon?" She innocently asks twirling her hair. "Umm sure." I panicked, she was hot but she had a terrible personality I would really like to go out with that other chick.

Time passed and the bell rung meaning the end of the day. I walked peacefully out of the school before Jessica put her arm around me. "Wait a bit, we have to beat up this ugly girl." Okay I guess that's not to hard. The girl walks out of the door and Jess struts up to her sassily talking back to her. I walk closer to hear the conversation. "Me and my hot new boyfriend will show you not to do it again." I peer over her shoulder seeing the one and only Rocky Smith.

Great. My celebrity crush is about to beat me up. Sexy right? No. Jessica comes over and punches me straight in the mouth. Wow she was strong, I tried to fight back but Mitch was holding me down. Isn't this amazing? I actually like a guy and I think he likes me back then he gets a girlfriend on the first day of school and beats me up. People start surrounding me before I see Mitch mouth a sorry. Then a fist comes out to my face and all I see is black.
