I was woken up by mum early the next morning. And by early I mean 7:20! I lay in bed utill eight because my body just wouldn't budge. It was way to early.
Yesterday I was exited for this holiday. But now, I wanted to give it the middle finger and tell it to go fuck it's self. I was not in the mood.
I knew as soon as my mum had to physically drag me out of my bed by my ankles that I was going to be a grump today.
That meant I would be snappy, talk back, excessive amount of swearing, sassy. It all. And I knew that it would get me in so much trouble, but I couldn't give.
Rara and Jess didn't help with my lack of sleep, they where very much morning people. They where running around the house screaming and laughing.
"Oh, dude." Rara started in a very bad country accent.
"That hurt like a butt-cheek on a stick." Jess finished, in an even worse country accent.
They where toppled over in laughter and giggles. Big smiles attached to their faces. And once they noticed me they only got wider.
They started jumping down.
I loved my siblings. But at the moment I just wanted them to be quiet so I could get a forty winks before we left.
"Ana! Your up! We can go now!" Rara started.
"Nooo Rara. She needs to get Steph and jack." Jess stated, placing her hands on her hips and shaking her head.
I chuckled quietly at them.
"Yup Rara. Jess is right, I have to go wake up the sleeping baboons across the road before we can go." I told him, putting on my shoes to go and do exactly that.
It was quite chilly outside but I hadn't expected anything less. It was England, what else could you expect.
We lived in a place called Brighton. It was about four, maybe five hours away from Yorkshire, so I had a long day ahead of me.
Our house was was about a five Minute walk up a hill from the peer. So all the wind from the sea was blown up to us and we suffered in cold most of the time.
Sometimes we can get a real heat wave though, But that was not the case today. It was freezing.
My teeth where chattering and my hands where begging to go numb as I walked up to Steph and jacks house, even though I had only been outside for about thirty seconds.
I knocked loudly on the door and it burst open before I could even pull my hand away.
"Are we going now?" And exited looking Steph threw the question at me before I could even say hello.
"Good morning to you too. I'm doing amazing thanks, how about you?" I asked her, crossing my arms over my chest and leaning against the door frame.
She rolled her cloudy green eyes at me and huffed.
"Jack isn't up yet. I've already tired but he won't budge. You give it a shot." She told me as she grabbed hold of my elbow and pulled me inside, and pushed me up the stairs, prompting me to go up.
I just chuckled at her but continued my climb up the many sets of stairs to the attic.
Jackson's room was cool, and I had constantly complained to my mum that I wanted a room in the attack. It was cozy and secluded and it was definitely my favourite place in Steph and Jackson's house, don't take that in a weird way.
Even though it was small and the ceilings where low, which confused me because Jackson was a tall person and never seemed to hurt himself, it was an amazing.
