Chapter 4- Where have you gone? ❤️

For a few days I've been at home, I tried to get into the office twice, but Weitz blocked my keycard so I couldn't get in. I got really annoyed at that. Tasha kept coming over and wasn't as quiet as she was the other day. Me and Rich keep getting closer, I really am liking it. But I have to go shopping today, Jane said she was going to meet me there and help me get my groceries. So it's almost 10am and I'm dressed. The doorbell just rung and I'm guessing it's Jane. I run to the door "Hi Jane" I say as I open the door. But Jane is not stood there. It's 3 agents.. "Hello Special Agent Patterson, We have been sent to make sure your okay by Special Agent Reade." He says. My hands cover my mouth and my voice sounds muffled. "Why, what's happened?" I ask "The rest of your Task force except from you and Reade have been abducted, they were last seen at 7pm yesterday night when they left the office. Agent Reade requested that we bring you to the office to be safer." The agent replied. I run to get my jacket, my phone and one person springs into my mind "Rich" I whisper. I grab my laptop and charger and head out the door.

I walk into Sioc and Reade stands waiting for me at the elevator, I run out and head straight for him. I grab his wrist and drag him to the lab . "Patterson wait, Borden took them" says Ifrene (one of my lab techs). My eyes open so wide I feel like they are going to pop out of my head. "What?" me and Reade say in sync. "Yes, me and Stuart saw on one of the CCTV cameras in the main city have captured Borden and some other Sandstorm members taking the team." She says. I just drop to the floor, I'm still conscious but I can't breathe. "Patterson, can you do this?" Reade asks. "I.. I thought he was dead.." I whisper "I mean yes I can do it but..." "I know he's Alive and here and he's taken our teammates and if Rich isn't here your almost the only agent that can save them." Reade says attempting to reassure me. I get up off the floor and run to my lab. I log on to my systems and get a notification come through that is a video that is 3:26 long. I look at the thumbnail and I see Rich. My burry my face in my hands and almost scream "I need all lab techs on this, Ifrene good work, I need you to send down some agents to Borden's apartment and I will carry on looking into sandstorm and I want every agent on this task." I say while I clap my hands furiously. "Reade stay here and help me figure out the codes that Weller is saying." I analyse the video, using more concentration than I have ever used before." "It's the address of a hotel in downtown Manhattan!" I almost shout. I close my eyes and think about Rich, but I know that he'll be okay with the team.
