Days have passed and I've been allowed back in the office with authorised permission but I have to have supervised breaks. When Weitz told me the I rolled my eyes so much walking home. I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow with a doctor to see whats wrong with me. Rich and I have scheduled a date tonight at a bar in downtown Manhattan. Its at 8 pm and I have to go to the mall to get an outfit, actually thinking about that, I might be able to salvage one. My phone just buzzed in my pocket almost making me have a heart attack. It reads "Come to the locker room, Jane and Kurt's announcement." I laugh at the message trying to think of who could have wrote that. I put my phone in my pocket, iPad down on the table and log off just in case somebody comes into here because I am not risking any FBI files. I have a slight headache but I have literally just came back in here and I took a migraine pill like 10 minutes ago so it should work soon. I head out the door and to the locker room.
I open the door and I see Reade, Tasha, Weller but no Jane or Rich, "What's happening?" I ask. "Oh, lets just wait until Rich comes and Jane gets out of the bathroom." Said Weller with a smile across his face which was about a mile long. I look at him and he's just smiling at me, "What?" I say, getting irritated by this suspense. The door opens and Rich steps inside with Jane. She runs up to Weller and hugs him tightly. She holds up a stick which has a pink end and a white end and if she stopped waving it around in the air then I'd be able to tell what it is. "OMG! CONGRATULATIONS!" Tasha shouts from behind me. It just clicks in my head, She's pregnant! Jane just bursts into tears in front of us all, "Shhh don't cry Jane you're having a baby!" I say. "Congrats guys." Reade says as he bro hugs Kurt, and pats him on the back. Me and Rich go up and hug them, then Tasha. "Kurt how dare you cheat on me!" teases Rich. "Shut up." Weller replies while having this annoyed type of look on his face. "Don't wind him up Rich." Reade says kinda scolding him. "I hope it's a girl." Tasha said. I laugh at the statement and go to walk out of the door when Weller tells the everyone else to go including Jane buts shouts me back because he wants to talk to me.
"Yep?" I ask politely and guiltily like I've done something wrong. "Appointment?" He said. "Kurt I hate these one word sentences and yes, I've booked one tomorrow, Rich is coming with me." I answer "Okay then, im letting you have the rest of the day off, work from home k?" He orders. I roll my eyes like three times before he interrupts me "Don't roll your eyes at me Patterson, I could suspend you but I'm not. I want to help you, your mine and Jane's best friends, we could have lost you almost a year ago and what if we did, We all love you very much." He said softly "I know Kurt, I'm just very reluctant about this topic, I don't like that and you know that, this job has exposed me to so much and I guess that its just catching up to me but I love you all too, and I appreciate your help." I walk to him hug him and walk with him to Sioc and wave him bye "Thank you Kurt." I say. "It's fine Patterson, we are best friends." He said i smile then turn to get into the elevator, with Rich already waiting there, "See you tomorrow daddy-to-be," Rich says. Weller shakes his head laughing as the elevator doors close. "I love you Patterson." he tells me, "I love you too Rich." I say blowing a kiss to him with a hand gesture. I smile at him happily.
