Chapter 5

Glenn's POV

We went out into the streets with the walkers.

I felt a drop on me.

"Rick" I whispered

"Shit" he said

There were more and more walkers coming near us as it rained harder. Then Rick just went at it.

"RUN" he yelled

We both ran and we climbed the fence. I took off the lab coats and gloves.

Rick grabbed keys to the semi truck.

"Here" he said as he tossed me the keys "I'll cover you"

I started the car and Rick shot the walkers that were trying to get over the fence.

"Come on get in!" I yelled and rick jumped into the car and we went to the car lot

We broke the window on the car and unlocked it. I drove around, distracting the walkers away from the department store so we could get out of this place.

Once the door way was clear we got a signal and told the others to come down.

I continued to distract the geeks away.

Daryl's POV

We got a message from them saying to go down. We got all of our things and ran down the stairs. As we were crossing, the walkers broke though the windows in the doors. We ran for the truck and hopped in a Rick drove off.

Carl's POV

We were all peacefully eating lunch and then there was a noise coming from someone near.

Everyone looked around, and then a stollen car and a semi van came.

A Asian guy stepped out of the car and a couple of other people came out from the semi van.

There was Daryl, shane, a black guy, a black woman, a woman with blonde hair, and a teenager with blonde hair.

Then there was a man who stepped out of the driver set. He had a cop uniform and a sheriff hat. His back was turned to where I couldn't see his face. The man slowly turned and then I saw a familiar face.

"DAD" I yelled as I ran up to him

He ran up and tackled me. My mom came up behind me and joined us.

"I thought you were dead" mom said

"Well I came back" he said smiling

We showed him and the others around the camp and by the time we were finished it was time for bed.

We ate dinner and went into our tent.

I got ready for bed and laid down.

"I missed you so much" my dad said with a tear rolling down his face

"Don't worry we are together now, we will be fine" I said and smiled

"Good night" he said and kissed my head

I laid down and closed my eyes and let all of my pain go away. All of the stress, and knowing he is alive.
