Chapter 4

Faith POV

It was my uncle Merle. He would always abuse me when I was little and my dad never found out about it until after about a year of it happening. He would him touch me after he found out. I still have scars from it.

"Well, well, well, I never thought I'd see you guys" Merle he said as he made his way towards me

"Don't you even try touching her" my dad said as he pushed him away

"Oh you really think I'm going to hurt her"

"Yes, because that's exactly what happened last time"

He looked at me and then my dad then walked off.

"What was that all about" Carl said

"That was my uncle" I said "when I was little he abused me and no one knew, he told me to be quiet about it. I was scared I didn't know what to do. One day my dad saw scars and then I told him what happened. Ever since then he would let him even go close to me"

"I'm sorry about that" Carl said

Daryl's POV

We have been running low on food for the past couple days. Shane and I decided to go into the city.

"How long will you be gone" Faith said

"Not that long we will be back by dark" I said and smiled

She gave me a big hug.

"Stay near Lori and Dale" I said

She noded

"Make sure Merle doesn't touch her" I said to Dale and Lori

"We will have her close" Dale said

"Good" I said and we headed off

"We should walk from here" Shane said as we grabbed bags to fill them up with supplies

We got into the city and there were lots of walkers.

"Do you see a way to pass them?" I asked

Shane pointed out an alley with a gate.

"If we can distract them to over the other direction" Shane said

I looked around and I see a couple of rats. I pick up the rats and throw them into the herd of walkers.

"That will get them" I said and we snuck and got into the alley. We closed the gate and ran off.

Our last stop, the department store. We went in and grabbed some clothes for everyone and estimated on sizes. Once we got all of what we needed we went to head out, but there was a huge heard at the door.

"Shit" I said under my breath

We looked around for another way out. I found stairs and yelled for Shane to follow. We went up the stair case and it lead to a door out to the roof. There were other people out on the roof too.

I got my cross bow up "who are you" I yelled

"I'm Glenn and this is Rick, Andrea, T-dog, Amy, and Jaquie (I think that's how you spell it sorry if I'm wrong)" the Chinese kid said

I put my cross bow down.

"I'm Daryl and this is Shane" I said as Shane stepped out of the door

"Oh my god, Rick?" Shane said

He ran up to him.

"I thought you were dead"

"I woke up the other day" Rick said

"Lori and Carl are back at the camp we are at" Shane said

He started crying of happiness.

"Well before you get too happy, we still need to get out of here first" T-Dog said

"We could distract the geeks away from the garage door so we can get the semi out" Glenn said

"I've got an idea" Rick said and we went down stairs and got a walker

"We will use the guts to smell like them" Rick said

He took an axe and started chopping it into pieces. Then he took the guts out and rubbed it all over the lab coat we got.

"Glenn your going with me" Rick said

He nodded

We all put the guts on them until they were ready.

"Here carry a weapon with you just in case" Jaquie said and she handed them weapons and they headed out the door.
