Chapter 7

Faith's POV

I lay in the tent over hearing arguments about what to do.

"Hey want to join us?" Carl said

"Sure" I said as I sat down

Carl deals the cards out and we play B.S.

*into the game*

"No that is so B.S." Carl said

"No it's really is a queen" I said as I showed him the Carl

"Dang it" he says

"You two need to chill with this you guys get too intense" Sophia said sarcastically

"Hey kids come out" Shane yelled

We all left the tent and went out to where everyone else was standing.

"We decided that it is best for us to leave" Shane said

"Everyone okay with it?" Rick said

Pretty much everyone but one family were going on with us.

"Everyone go pack all your stuff" Shane said and then everyone took off to their tents.

I went to my tent and pack everything I had into my back pack. We loaded everything into the truck and waited for everyone else to finish packing.

"Dad, where are we going?" I ask

"We are not for sure but we are going to drive and check some places." he said

All of us packed into cars, and me Carl and Sophie rode in the RV with Dale and Shane. We drove for a while and then we realized it got dark.

"Let's check the CDC, it's just right around here." Shane said pointing up the road.

They talked on the walkie talkies and we pulled up to the CDC and got out. We all walked up to the door and they all knocked on it and no one was answering. They started yelling and walkers start approaching. Then Rick went all off on the camera as we were leaving. We were about to leave and the door opened up and we walk in. A man about in his late 30's was standing there.

"Hello I'm Dr. Jenner" the guy said

"I'm Rick" Rick said and he introduced all of us.

Dr. Jenner led us into an elevator and we all shoved ourselves in there.

We stopped and all got out and we were in a huge room with computers.

"Down here are some rooms to sleep" Dr. Jenner said as he led us down a hallway "there showers in each room with hot water, and all the way down the hallway is a game room for the kids just don't plug in the arcade games because all of the power will go out"

We went to go set our stuff in rooms and Carl, Sophia and I ran down to the game room. There were a whole bunch of games in there. Carl picked out monopoly and once we finished we went to bed. I walked to my room where my dad was getting ready to go to bed.

"Hey dad can I ask you something?" I asked

"Yeah what is it sweetie?" he said

"So you know how I've always wanted another sibling, right?"

"Yeah, where are you going with this?"

"Well you always said that you never had the money, so is that why you only took me?"

"What are you talking about?"

"The other baby in the car accident."

"Look I know your mother dying is horrible, but I think it's all up here.", he said pointing to his head, "you don't have a sibling and you were the only one in that accident with your mother. Now go to bed."

It took time for me to think about this a process it.

"Good night" I said as I laid down

If I don't have a sibling then why am I imagining this?
