[Reader's POV]
"Are you sure this is a good idea Y/n?" Jungkook asked as he looked around skeptically. I chuckle and nod my head. Ever since we had left our safe apartment the poor boy had been on edge the entire time.
"Jungkook it's fine, besides if anything were to go wrong I have a plan." I turn towards him and wink. I could see Jungkook roll his eyes behind his mask.
Since we had lived more in the country side we were required to take a cab, that being the less of his problems. Jungkook had been more worried about whether or not my boss decided to take the night and go see the Christmas lights with his wife or someone.
But he had nothing to worry about, little did he know I had a friend that I work with handling the situation and making sure he doesn't leave the office until we give him the signal.
Everything is going to be fine.
"Thank you!" I pay the cab driver and hop out of the car, my eyes lighting up with amazement from the many colors that were in front of my eyes. Trees had been coated with snow and beautiful white lights. In the middle of town there had been a ice rink along with a tall, well decorated Christmas tree in the middle.
It was amazing and I could tell Jungkook was thinking the same thing as I.
When I had looked over to catch his reaction his mouth was open in ajar, his eyes were sparking thanks to the lights and he seemed frozen. It was like he had seen something magical...
"Hey," I nudge his shoulder to catch his attention. "Instead of standing here letting the minutes tick by, lets go wander around and look at more, yeah?" Jungkook looks down to me with a smile.
"Okay."

As we walked around I couldn't help but coo a little at Jungkook. He was like a little kid, Jumping around, laughing and just having a great time. Every once in a while when we come across an area where we hadn't explored his face would light up like they did when we got here.
Eventually Jungkook and I had made our rounds around the entire town, twice. "Please! Once more!" He begged as I dragged my feet across the snowy ground.
"Kook, we've been here for three hours now and my feet are killing me. Besides you've seen them all, they aren't going to be different the third time." I laugh.
"You don't know that..." He mumbles. I shake my head and hold my hand out for him to take. He looks at me warily before grabbing onto my gloved hand. "Where are you taking me?" He asked.
I sigh. "Let's go to the ice rink, we still haven't seen the big Christmas tree and I'm sure you would like to see that before we leave." I drag both Jungkook and I to the ice rink that seemed to be farther away than we thought.
As we came closer to the tree I stop abruptly, thinking I had heard a voice.
"Hey, down here." Both Jungkook and I look down to see a man that seemed to be homeless or in need of change. "I'm not that small, jeez," He griped.
"What do you need?" Jungkook asked, his grip on my hand becoming tighter as he pushed me behind him, in case the man tried anything.
"Got any spare change? I was evicted from my apartment and need something for food, y'know?" He sighed. "Being a sound cloud rapper is a lot harder than it looks."
Jungkook rolled his eyes. "I asked what you wanted not for your life backstory," He replied. I cover my mouth in an attempt to not laugh my ass off because, he was right.
The man furrows his brows. "Excuse me? Do you even know who I am?" He asked standing up.
Jungkook stepped back. "Obviously not since you don't make enough to even stay in your own home," I could tell the two boys were getting heated.
"My name is Min Yoongi and you have no right to be talking to me like that, I'm probably older than you are and I doubt your mother taught you how to respect the older." He snapped.
The grip on my hand had tightened even more to the point where it had began to hurt. "Jungkook, lets just leave and go home we don't need this." I whisper.
The said man had looked down at me and sighed, his grip finally loosening. "Fine. Let's go." He said grabbing onto my waist and guiding us to where we were dropped off to get picked up.
While we waited for a cab to come zooming past on the wet streets Jungkook and I had kept quiet. I was becoming a bit worried either of the two would begin to throw hands or something.
But I couldn't get that mans name out of my head, It had seemed so familiar.
Jungkook nudges my shoulder. "Let's go, I hailed us a cab." He said. I nodded and stuffed my hands into my pockets to keep them warm while Jungkook held the door open for me. As soon as my butt had hit the seats of the cab my body was able to relax, causing me to release a sigh.
It had been a long night and thankfully, it was over. With the right person, that is.
