When I get home I find Aria and Quin asleep on the couch, Aria's head resting on his lap, Quin's arm draped over her shoulder. The blanket is nearly falling off of them, along with the plates of unfinished cake. I look over at the table to see a two-tiered cake with same strange fondant figure playing a fondant piano. I sigh. Who is going to eat all this cake? I glance over at Aria and Quin, making sure they are still asleep, before sneaking a slice. It's never going to get eaten otherwise, I think to myself. Oh my fucking god, this cake is delicious. Aria always makes the best deserts. I quickly finish up my cake when a loud bust of noise comes from the TV. I look at it to find it playing Tom and Jerry. I shake my head and smile. Somethings never change. I look over at the two of them. They've always been the perfect couple. Too bad Quin doesn't have the balls to ask her out yet. He better hurry up, because if he doesn't ask her out soon, someone else will. There's just something about her that makes everybody love her. Especially me. But in a big brother way. But if Quin asks her out, she's going to have to tell him the truth about who she actually is. About the kind of people we actually are. I don't know if he's ready for that yet. If she's ready for that yet. But the truth will eventually have to come out. And we all will have to face the consequences for hiding that truth.
