*Emma's POV*
You say you're sorry
But it's too late now
So save it, get gone, shut up
'Cause if you think I care about you now
Well, boy, I don't give a fuck.I woke up to the sound of my alarm and shut it down with my hand. I wanted to get up but Ed kept a tight hold on me. I slapped him lightly and he woke up.
"Good morning, Sleepyhead!" I told him while stroking the cheek that I slapped. He kissed my forehead, got up and picked me up from the bed. "Go get ready, school's waiting for us!" He rubbed his hands together and went to his room to get ready.
I washed my hair and blow dried it. I wasn't a fan of makeup, in fact I hated it so I never used any. I brushed my teeth and got out of bathroom.
I went into my closet and put on the outfit I picked yesterday. I quickly looked at myself in the mirror on my wall. I didn't look twice as bad, not trying to boost my ego.
I skipped in the hallway and ran directly into James, dressed in his work clothes. "Be careful, Kiddo." He chuckled. I smiled at him and ran downstairs.
When I got downstairs, I was swept of my feet into someone's arms. I looked up and saw Tony. "I see that my hoodie didn't get lost in the mall then." He told me, smirking. I wiggled out of his hold and ran in the kitchen.
Unfortunately, there was a sock lying on the floor and I slipped right on in. I prepared myself for the fall, but too strong arms caught my arms and put me back on my feet. I turned around and saw Aiden laughing at me.
"Good morning to you too!" I told him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back and we both went to the kitchen for some breakfast. We were greeted by the fabulous smell of Liam's pancakes! I saw all of the boys were already sitting by the table and stuffing their faces. "Good morning everyone!" I said and quickly grabbed a pancake. I got back a few hugs and kisses and went back to eating.
The thing was, I wasn't nervous at all, which kinda surprised me. But I was really glad and enjoyed every moment of it.
"Guys, it's time to go!" Liam shouted from the door. I quickly grabbed my bag and sprinted to the car. Liam was driving with the family van, because James had to work early today. I went my for the front seat but was thrown back onto Adam's lap. "I'm not sitting on his lap, Em." Owen said chuckling from the front seat. I frowned at him but Adam held me close so I kinda sunk into him.
When Liam stopped in front of the school, he turned around. Oh god, here comes the speech. "So," he started, "everyone, take care of each other, don't get in fights and Emma, be careful around boys you don't know." I nodded and all the guys murmured something in agreement.
We all got out of the car and waved Liam, who then drove off. All of the boys hugged me and went to their friends. I walked in the school alone. I got to my locker and started putting my things inside. Then two arms wrapped around my waist from behind and head was laid on my shoulder. I turned around quickly to see an afro-american boy smiling down at me. Caleb.
Let me introduce Caleb. Caleb is my best friend, we have been friends since preschool. I can tell him absolutely anything, he will listen to me and won't make fun of me like my brothers. He plays soccer with Ed, they are pretty good friends too. Caleb is like a family. He is an only child and his parents are almost never home, so he spends most of his time with us. I seriously can't imagine my life without him.
"Caleb!" I shouted and hugged him tightly. He is a lot taller than me so my legs swung in the air. He wrapped his muscular arms and hugged me back equally as tightly. "Hey Em!" He said into my ear. I jumped down from his arms.
"How have you been?" I asked him as he put his things in his locker, which was right next to mine. Is this pure luck or what? "Well," he started, "it was kinda nice, you know seeing my grandparents but I missed you too much." Oh please. I knew he was lying but I played along. "Oh my, I missed you too, I couldn't handle it." We looked at each other for a while and then burst out laughing. We laughed for a good while. "But I really missed you." He said hugging me. I hugged him back."I missed you too, idiot!" He was with his grandparents in Mexico the whole summer because his parents went to Japan. We offered that he could stay with us, but they said no.
We went together to the office and took our schedules. We had almost all classes together except gym and maths. Maths was unfortunately my first lesson. We said goodbye and I went to my class.
