The sun shine creeps through my curtain and makes it way onto my face, waking me up. I groan as it's waking me up.
I open my eyes.
"Agh too bright" I said as I run over to the curtain and shut it properly.
I put my hand to my forehead.
"I have a headache" I mumble to myself.
I check the time
"TWO O'CLOCK?!?!" I yell as I'm late for work
I rush to my closet and throw some clothes on, do my hair then rush out.
I run towards my work place.
I work at a boba cafe, and I quite enjoy it.
When I arrive I get in and put on my apron.
"You're late" my manager says.
"Sorry" I say coldly
"Anyways, I need you to look after the new employee, just show him what do to and all, he's coming soon." The manager says and leaves.
I sigh and grab out my phone, waiting for a customer to come in. I start scrolling through Instagram but then I hear the little bell ring.
Without looking up I say
"Hello, what would you like to order" I say
"I uh, I'm the new employee" the guy says
My eyes instantly shoot up.
"Are you following me?!?!" I question harshly.
"Why would I want to follow an ugly person like you?" He says
"Tsk whatever, go put on an apron." I say and point to where they're hanging.
He walks over and puts one on.
He walks back
"Now what?" He questions
"Now we wait until someone comes in and orders, then I'll show you what to do." I say to him
"Alright" He replies
I take out my phone and scroll through Instagram again, occasionally stoping to like a photo.
I feel someone looking over my shoulder but I don't take much of it.
Then I get a dm
'Baby I'm sorry, come see me today'
I get rid of the notification and go onto his page and block him.
"Are you sure you want to block bambam.97?"
[Yes | No]
I sigh and place my phone down.
"Relationship problems?" The guy asks
"None of your business" I reply.
Then a customer walks in
"Oh uh, Minty, just watch what I do" I say to the guy
"The names not mi-" he tries to say but he was cut off
"What would you like?" I say to the customer
"One large coconut pearl please"
"Okay, mint head watch closely" I say
I show him what to do and I'm hoping he's watching closely.
"Okay got it?" I ask
"Yeah, I guess" he responds
"Okay well next customer is yours." I say
"Alright" He says with an unbothered face
Shortly after a customer comes in. As the bell rang mint head got startled a bit. The customer walked over and asked for his order
"One medium vanilla pearl please"
"Uhh no problem" minty said and went off
I watched in amusement as he would fumble around, but somehow he finished it and handed it to the customer, the customer pays then takes a sip.
"Hey! This is the best I've had yet!" The customer says and then gives mint head a tip.
I stand there with my mouth open, and he just has a smug look on his face.
"You know they do say I'm the bes- Ow!" He says as he was cut of by me elbowing him on his side.

After working for a long time, I took off my apron and walked out, started cleaning the tables and putting the chairs in place, I'm ready for closing. I go and turn the sign around so now it says "sorry, we are closed".
When I finish that I got my stuff and started walking out.
"Alright come on mint head" I say
"Stop calling me that!" He responds
"Well what do you want me to call you?" I ask
"My name" He says
"And that is?" I ask
"Yoongi." He says then walks past me and leaves.
