He arrived at the gas station. He went to check his balance on his card, and once he put in his pin, he was SHOOK! His balance was " $8.50". That was nowhere NEAR enough to even get to the Starbucks that was just 3 blocks away. Hesitantly he called his brother and asked him if he can transfer $30.00 for gas so that he can get to his house. His brother agreed and sent him the money. After he payed for gas, he only had $7.25, he was very hungry. He made his way to the McDonald's right around the corner and got himself the cheapest breakfast choice... a breakfast muffin for $2.00. As he was driving, he realized he had to pick up his mom the very next morning. He texted his brother letting him know that mom will be staying the night with them. After 30 minutes of driving, he finally made it to his brothers house. He was welcomed by his niece and nephew giving him a BILLION hugs and kisses. His brother came and showed him to the guest room. "So, hows mom doing?", Issac asked, "Oh, she's doing great! She really wished you could see her", he replied. There was an awkward silence for about 5 minutes. Issac then said, "I've been very busy.... I really wanted to see her, but I just... couldn't....". Joseph understood. He seemed like a very busy man. Issac's kids were yelling for their dad. He made his way out of the room while Joseph began to unpack. Is was time for dinner, his sister in law made lasagna. They all began to eat. They had small talk and then when they finished eating, he went to bed because he had to wake up early in the morning to get his mom.
