Mistletoe (ColeXSeliel)

Cole tugged at the bottom of his sweater, looking across the room to Seliel, currently in the middle of a conversation with Nya- oblivious to the internal struggle that Cole was currently going through. 'You've kissed her once before man, and you've been on a few dates now that she knows who you are- how can it be so hard to just walk up and kiss her?' he begged himself, having been completely mesmerized by the stunning girl around him for the past hour.

Cole looked up as he heard Kai approach him, a small grin on his face. "Something keeping your mind busy buddy?" he asked him teasingly, Cole reddening. Cole shook his head, "it's nothing ..." he said quickly, but Kai saw through it immediately- his smile widening.

"You want to catch Seliel under the mistletoe" he said quietly but matter of factly- Cole turning to him immediately. "What?! No- I- I don't- it's just- ..." his voice faltered as he felt his face redden even more, tugging at his annoying Christmas sweater again. "There's not even any mistletoe around." he tried to argue weekly.

Kai smirked, "dude- screw mistletoe." he said with a laugh, Cole raising an eyebrow. Cole was about to open his mouth to say something more, but he didn't get the chance before Kai had a hand on his shoulder. "Merry Christmas buddy." he said teasingly, before giving him a quick shove across the room, Nya helpfully tripping him so that he landed right next to Seliel on the couch.

Cole ruffled his hair embarassedly as he straightened himself immediatly, throwing Kai a glare before Seliel's voice pulled his attention quickly back to her. "Nice entrance." she teased, her voice light and happy- Cole freezing before his body seemed to take over for him, leaving his mind completely out the door and around the corner as he moved quickly- cupping her face in his hands and pulling himself forward to kiss her passionately.

Cole felt her jump, and considered pulling away for a moment until after a moment of shock he felt her relax into it. Kai gave a whistle but Cole didn't care, his fingers sliding into her hair as Seliel pulled herself closer to him- deepening their kiss. Cole felt a heat like fire shoot through his body as he simply held her to him, appreciating the exhilarating yet slightly familiar pressure of her face against him.

Cole titled his head, pulling her closer for just a moment before finally he seemed to regain his surroundings- and pulled away slightly embarassed to have just kissed her like that in front of all of their friends.

He looked into her stunning bright blue eyes, a small smile behind them even if they were tinted with surprise- and Cole found himself saying the first thing that came to mind. "Who needs mistletoe?" he whispered quietly, a laugh breaking out between the two of them.
