Five:No Game and New Friend(s)

I knew he would ask me questions soon. It was only a matter of time.

When he was sleeping I decided to look through his office quietly to see if he found anything on me and Darkness.

His desk was a mess I'll tell you that much.

After a few minutes I found a few files with patients name on the little tab sticking out.

I looked for my name seeing as I shouldn't look through someone else's. But what is my name?

A few of the files had different sectors and what surprised me was there was sector E.

Sector E? That's building five. I've only ever heard of it from the other people. Are there more buildings then six? I wonder.

I need to find out more about this project Revenger. I need to know her game.

I listened to Drew's heart and heard it beat slow and steady.

I finally found a file at the very end of the pile.

Notes: Extremely hostile. Do not engage. Has killed well over seven hundred doctors and staff members in three years. No weaknesses. No fears. Perfection.

The black and white photo showed a girl younger version of me with long hair. Hair past her shoulders. She has the same nose. The same brows. The same lips. The same scar that runs through my left brow and through my left eye.

My hair was cut the same day I got that scar. I was eight I believe when I was brought there. They let me loose in the Judgment Room as soon as I got there. I was eight years old for crying out loud.

My danger scale went up. How? Doctor Joy said it was 12/10.

Wait. My names Xara. That's such a beautiful name. I smiled. I felt something tug at a forgotten memory.

They didn't put my species down. Why. Were they keeping it a secret incase something like this happened? Smart.

I glanced at the calendar to see what day it was. 11/25/2024.

2024? I did some quick math and my jaw fell. They took in me 2008. So it's been roughly fifteen years since I saw the sun. I'm in absolute shock.

When was Drew planning to tell me?

There was no file on the Revengers like Cody had said. I looked to see the sun barely peaking out and the birds singing looking for food. I quickly put things in order and took out any of my scent from the room. I would say I got rid of my finger prints. But, Doctor Joy forced me to not have finger prints or even footprints. Like the loops and curved on the tips of fingers. She said she didn't want me to traced by creatures who went of by those.

I left the door locked and went to my room on the far end of the hall.

I didn't bother to change. I quickly bathed myself as Drew went on a hunt.

I began cooking eggs and bacon again and all the other things and I had set them. He gave me my bunnies.

I knew he had questions. His head was filled with them and his eyes were lost in them.

After the fight with Luke yesterday I won the approval of the Warriors and they told me that they would protect me. Which I highly doubt. Their fighting is terrible.

But I played nice and said thanks.

"Do you think we can buy you frozen meats from the store? I feel kinda bad for the bunnies?" He brought me back from my subconscious.
