Unedited:
I had introduced Cody and Axel. They got became weary friends. I'm not sure. I don't think the mean glances they share every once in awhile is good.
I had a knife in my left hand. Cody and Axel uneasy as to why.
"It's not to kill I promise. Drew just doesn't like blood in the house. So, Axel take your shirt off." His light brown eyes dart to Cody who was equally terrified.
"I'm taking the tracers out of you. Don't be a new Carni." Cody's face remained but Axel understood. He took his shirt off and laid on the dark green grass.
The kitchen knife almost pierced Axel's skin when Cody spoke.
"You know we have doctors here who can take those, uh, out."
"No. They wouldn't know how to or where to take them out. I've taken mine out myself. Plus I know how to heal better than silly medicine." Cody signed and said okay but he'll be looking the other way.
I signed and allow Darkness to scan his body and found three in his left upper shoulder.
"Don't breath until I tell you." I told Axel. If he breathed his skin would not match and make it difficult to heal back up with no scaring and the chips would be constantly moving.
"Stop breathing." As soon as he held his breath I cut his skin open and grew two claws from my finger tips and pulled out four chips in two attempts. My claws grew back in my hand. I handed the knife to my right hand as I licked my left two fingers and touched the cut watching as they healed back to they way they meant to be with no scaring.
"Breath."
He blew out a puff of hair and I allowed him to breath while I looked at the chips.
They're new. As if she put them in right before letting Axel attack me.
I took the knife in my left hand and waited for his breathing to settle.
"Stop breathing."
He held his breath as I cut into the back of his ankle and extract three chips. I did the same healing with his ankle.
"Breath."
He signed again. Darkness scanned his body for more but found none.
I glanced at his upper left arm. Four thousand six hundred twenty-seven.
Hm. Interesting. I wonder how many.
Too many at this point Darkness.
I looked at the trees and saw a crow. I hummed for him to come.
I stuck my arm out and he landed.
I took the chips in my hand. I looked into his black beading eyes
"Take these and put them where I told you to put mine. Thank you." He cawed and flew up and used his talons to grab the chips and flew off.
I look back at Axel and Cody. Both wide eyed at me like a deer.
I shrugged. I will never understand human things.
We walked around on the edges of the territory of the Dark Pack.
Allowing Axel to know the surrounds that I've learned in the first night.
"Are there roughly three hundred people in this pack?" Axel assumed the same number I have before.
"Three hundred and twenty-seven." Cody stated. That's false.
"No, you're lying. There's three hundred and thirty. Someone has either given birth or gotten pregnant." I told Cody. Axel nodded with his head. He too could hear the heartbeats, I assume.
