it had been three days since the girls' "breakdown". the group has been bonding a lot more since then. neither of the girls had said anything about what happened in the bathroom but neither of them would ever forget it.

the party arrived at a nearby roller world on a sunny saturday afternoon in hopes of being the only people there, which they were. the squad got their skates and headed to put them on. "i'm nervous, i hate to admit but i'm an awful roller skater" max laughed nervously, finishing tying her skates' laces.
"hey it's fine. if you fall i'll catch you" mike smiled reassuringly.
"okay love birds break it up" dustin laughed, jane glanced at will who was frowning, looking at his hands in his lap.
"okay guys let's skate now" lucas rolled his eyes and made way towards the rink. max took jane's hand to keep balance and followed after lucas.
max gripped janes arm and squealed as she fell backwards and mike quickly followed behind her to catch her. "thank you, kind sir."
"of course my lady, here let me help you" mike took max's arm and looped it with his own as he steadily helped her keep her balance. jane and will followed behind them groggily.
max giggled loudly and gripped mikes chest as she fell hastily and of course mike rushed to block her fall.
jane rolled her eyes. "hey jane... it's okay mike he loves you"
"what??"
"you look annoyed and you've been staring at mike, almost glaring the whole night" will slightly chuckled.
jane had completely forgotten, the whole day she has been thinking about how she wished she could spend the afternoon with max. but no mike was hogging her, her almost-kinda boyfriend was trying to steal her new bestfriend(? )
or was she mad because some girl was going after her mike? she had no idea. "max is really pretty" will mumbled, still skating slowly by jame's side.
jane and will are like siblings, their parents are best friends, have been since high school. jane could tell him anything and he would never tell another soul and the other way around obviously.
"yeah i know, her eyes, i could look into them all day- never get bored, her stupid hair is so soft- you should get the chance to feel it! it's amazing!" jane grumbled angrily looking at her feet. "do you like her.. like that?"
jane thought to herself.. do i like her? no i don't i'm not gay. i like boys. her face heated up but she shook her head, a look of disgust flashed across it
