When everyone came to the game shop. we sat in silence unsure what to make off aika. She seemed very familiar I just couldn't remember why.
"Hello yugi heba oh I see everyone's here today" gramps smiles
"Hey grampa" yugi and heba hug him
"What's wrong?" grampa asks
"Ummm... it's hard to explain" heba says
"I think you might be able to help" yugi says
everyone looks at him confused
" Grampa was there ever a palace musician" he asks
Grampa stiffened he looks at yugi with tears in his eyes.
"Hey what's wrong" heba asks
"Yugi...i..." grampa breaks down crying
"Grampa what's wrong" heba and yugi shout
The rest of us stood there. shocked or concerned. grampa was always happy he would never break down over something small. i started to wonder if there was a palace musician. I tried to remember but doubled over in pain. malik bakura atemu joined me on the floor. It soon stopped. I opened my eyes to see a worried yugi.
"I'm fine now aibou" I groan
"I'm fine ryou" bakura says
"Me too but what the hell was that" atemu asks
" hey wake up" marik shouts slapping Malik
"That doesn't... help" malik groans rolling over
our hikaris look at each other and help us up onto the sofa. gramps bought some coffee and tea to us. I was still in pain but tried not to show it. whatever was stopping us from remembering was powerful.
"Yugi I will tell what I know about the musician power but... it's related to your parents." gramps sighed
I felt yugi freeze next to me.
"I will be ok grampa" he lies
"Ok. it all starts when me and professor Hawkins find a tomb. it is plain but full of instruments. apart from that there is a single gold box. It read 'palace musician' with decoration around it. I took off the lid to find a diary. I read the first word and my friend stops me. he hold the lid and looks at me. he was scared..." grampa cries again
"Please try to carry on" malik asks politely
"Did you just say please" we all say amazed
"I... i think I just did" he looked confused
"Do you have a fever? are you sick" marik says checking his forehead
"I'm fine" he shouts
"There's the malik we know" heba laughs
malik didn't say anything and seemed lost in thought. it was very strange. Marik was worried.
" Gramps continue before this gets even more freaky" joey says
"Well.... I took the lid and realised the decoration was actually a Egyptian curse. it said ' as I suffered you will too the power of Anubis will touch your love unless I blessed by Isis stop it.' .... that was the closest translation. we were unsure what to make of it until.... I got home and was given the news of your parents death." Grampa started crying again.
Yugi was was sobbing into my shirt. heba was ok but frozen. that's when I felt the burning.
" Ahhhhh" I screamed falling to the floor
"Yami!!" I heard multiple voices scream.
Then burning soon stopped. I opened my eyes saw aika I punched her smiling face but before I could stop her face vanished and yugi was there. he was nocked out.
"yugi!!" I shout confused
I looked at his unconscious body and sigh. I had no idea what was happening.
"Why the hell did you punch him!!" screamed a furious heba
"I...i don't know"
"You don't know why you punched my best friend" joey shouts lifting me up by the collar
"Leave him alone" sighs atemu
"Why should I" heba and joey shout
"Aika she is soo familiar why can't I remember her" shouts a frustrated malik
"Must protect" yugi says in his unconscious state
"Wait I thought I was the only one that felt the need to protect her" says a shocked marik
"I feel it too believe it or not" sighs kibah
"So the all of the darkness want to know who she is and 3 of the hikari want to protect her." says atemu
"Wait won't that mean that joey is kibahs darkness" heba points out
We all stare at him.
"I guess..." We all say
Then we look at kibah
"Nope kibah has to be joey's darkness" bakura says
After that I noticed the time and so did everyone else. we all said goodbye and everyone left. I carried yugi to our room.
"Yugi I'm sorry" I whisper kissing him on his forehead
