I keep tossing and turning thinking about this damn dinner and if I was gonna listen to me or the other me I didn't know what to do

Clarence was a very sweet guy not the one I met at the club but he was funny and me and him were friends for a long ass time and his wife me and her went to school together And all that she was Preggo and there lil family was so cute and they make it work for eachother

That text made me get up outta my bed wit the quickness I didn't know what I was gonna wear but I knew the theme was black so I went to find a nice dress I found one that showed skin and I paired it with my black red bottoms I hopped in the shower

washed off , got out I dried my body off ,and applied lotion also baby oil For a shine.
I parted my hair and put some braids in it and put my platinum blond wig on that was long almost to my butt

I slide my dress on and it fitted so good ,I put my red bottoms on I put my makeup robe on so I wouldn't mess it up with makeup

I did my face and the clock said 7:28 I knew I was gonna be late to that shit but I'm not gonna break a heel tryna come I put my robe back and threw my cloths in the dirty cloths

But I had to go back and brush my teeth and put my contacts in I did so and walked back out the bathroom I picked his gift up and my phone walking in the living room

I found a pin and wrote my name on it in script  I grabbed my keys and left outta the house I got on the elevator and went down to my car I put his gift in the trunk and got in the car

I pulled outta the driveway and on to the rode I made my way to a upper class part of Baltimore we're the restaurant was at

It took me 10 minutes to get there I was now ten minutes late  I parked in front of the restaurant and caught my breath finally I got out the car slowly and saw his car parked two spaces from mine

I grabbed my phone and my purse I forgot my wallet damn man now I gotta use my credit card bruh I knew I shouldn't have rushed to get here I popped the trunk and grabbed his gift and went inside of the restaurant

I followed behind her and she led me to the door we're they were at and left I breathed in and out and turned the knob and pushed the door open

Everybody looked at me but my eyes went straight to Izzy then some girl he was with

I laughed with ej for a couple of minutes and he walked off and I was just looking around it was nice here really nice Izzy had taste I grabbed some champagne from off the table and found the guts to go say happy birthday to him

I walked over to him and he looked at me and I just looked at him and finally before I knew it I was looking up at him an he was looking down at me I nervously laughed

I walked outta the room and speed walked into the bathroom that shit really hurted and I did all this just for him to have a girlfriend really
I shook my head looking in the mirror why was I giving him a chance why the hell was I really

I looked at myself in the mirror and had to remember who I was I ain't got time to be worried about no ordinary nigga

But the thing is Izzy ain't no ordinary nigga and thats what bought me here
